That, of course, was the opening hour of Mainstreed, the Questboards, and the Cherrywood Bar and Wood fire Pizza restaurant, a well-known hang out spot of a specific low-grade monster-bashing team, as well as where we find said team blacked out, on the floor, like usual.

 

NeverBetter awoke with a grunt, coughing up a ball of hair, he tried to recall last night's events. "That's the last time I let Yuffie get my drinks... I think I bit a chunk out of Silver's hair again..." He sighed picking himself up off the ground, he looked around at the rest of his drunken and sleeping team.

 

"All of you, get up, please!" NeverBetter called to his teammates.

(Wait, Oath was first? I thought I was first. )  Axel returned with Reyn, also carrying a lot of food, though with more variety than what Reyn had found. "Uh, hey guys. We thought we might need to stock up on a lot of food. We might have gotten a little too much, but this is fine, right?" He asked, looking a little nervous now that he'd realized just how much food him and Reyn had ended up bringing back to the group.

Reyn came back after following Axel to get food (just pretend that happened) and came back with a 2 dozen bags of potato Chips. "Don't worry guys, we have food that'll give us loooooooots of calories so we can have more energy to survive longer should we run out and starve!"

Nortanort tossed a muffin up in the air, caught it, bit into it and said, "As ready as I'll ever be. Say, did you and Yuffie eat those muffins I gave you two? If so, I'll be able to help you find her! Some lesser men may call it 'illegal,' but not I. Anyway, what they don't know won't hurt them. That's my philosophy." He wasn't even kidding. There was a magical core implanted into each muffin that allowed him to keep track of who ever ate them. Of course, he would never actually tell anyone this.

"She didn't, Nort. Don't think I don't know how you showed up at my ohoboh lesson, either." NeverBetter glared, until the Monado Boys were back in town. "Good greif..." He opened his inventory and stuffed every item inside, his pockets not even mildly bulging from it all. "At least Reyn knows how much he will need to eat!" NeverBetter laughed, staring out the door. "Yuffie. I know you're still probably there. A small bomb is good for quick get-aways, but this is the only exit. Whatever you're having trouble with, I hope it gets better. If it dosen't, call us on the sat phone, we'll be back with a cake and a few shots for you." NeverBetter announced. He took a step towards the door, and another, and another...Meanwhile at the mountains..."Oi, Smitty." a voice boomed. "What is it Ren!?" A voice bellowed back. "I hear some puny humans are going to try and cull our number down before we get a change to attack! Would you believe their audacity!""Ha! We can squash any human flat.""Yep yep, bunch of lousy wankers!""I hope they are ready to shart themselves. Trop will have fun smuchin' em too I bet!"The two voices begin to laugh a bone-chilling laugh, almost like a battle cry....Meanwhile, back with the team.The group made it to Torms Clearing. A small, babbling brook, a constantly walked on dirt road, and small grasses covered the fields. Ahead looked like some sort of twisted forest marsh. "The Torms Woods. It's said that the spirits commune here soon after their passing and forgive one-another for any wrongdoings they may have done in the past before fading away." NeverBetter pulled out his pocket watch. Half past five. "After we enter, we won't return unless one of you is gravely injured and needs serious medical help. Are you sure you're ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," Silver tells Riki, "I'm fairly certain you're not putting enough faith in us, dude. I'm sure that we'll make it through this with as few scratches as possible. It'll be fine." Silver patted his sheath for show, and added a cocky smile to portray his confidence in their mission. He'd deal with these giants the same way Eren Jeager did--by beating the snot out of them. Minus the occasional "getting eaten alive" part, of course.

Kev had been standing where the group met for some time, unmoving and quiet. He suddenly blinked a few times and shook his head,  regaining control of himself. "oh shit,  they're gonna kill all the stuff without me!" He sprinted off down the street, and flew past the bar to the clearing where they had gathered. "Sorry im....huff....late.....huff...guys." He snapped to attention and held in his panting to say "Ready and willing Mr.Better Sir!"

"When am I not ready to go on a mission?" Axel asked NeverBetter jokingly. "We'll be fine, man. There's no need to worry." He reassured his leader. "When have I ever ended up in trouble during a mission, anyway?"
