A crisp morning, that December was. A cold, average day. quiet, at least until twelve PM. That, of course, was the opening hour of Mainstreed, the Questboards, and the Cherrywood Bar and Wood fire Pizza restaurant, a well-known hang out spot of a specific low-grade monster-bashing team, as well as where we find said team blacked out, on the floor, like usual.

 

NeverBetter awoke with a grunt, coughing up a ball of hair, he tried to recall last night's events. "That's the last time I let Yuffie get my drinks... I think I bit a chunk out of Silver's hair again..." He sighed picking himself up off the ground, he looked around at the rest of his drunken and sleeping team.

 

"All of you, get up, please!" NeverBetter called to his teammates. 

 

(Welcome to the world we now as Alternate. I have just put us all here for now, as I feel its the easiest way to do things in terms of kicking us off.  Let the posting commence!)

"Woo! we get to use the Dragon Balls!" Kev thought for a bit. "What will we wish for once we bring NeverBetter back?"

Reyn thought about it for a minute. "We can ask to get more Pegasi for NB to bash his head into for no reason again!" He then looked to Yuffie. "Or...Sell, i guess...."

"Ooh, ooh, I have one!" Yuffie called towards Shulk. She dug around in her vest pocket and pulled out a small green sphere. "I got this from a... Client. Yeah, let's go with client. Anyway, it is Raise Materia." She said, trying to cover something up. She smiled at the others, and put her hands together, with the Materia inbetween. In a short time, that magic worked........ And then the sphere fell out of her hands and broke on the ground. "Guess it isn't multiuse."

The body of NeverBetter rose, like the holy ghost itself, but then exploded again when someone shot it. "Damn you all are loosers!" A cocky, arrogent, mama's boy toolbar voice said, as smoke fitted away from his gun. "You can't even kill some simple pegasi without destroying an entire building." The leader of a team said, climbing over the piles of dead horses with his possey. He was the leader of Alpha Pain, a top guild, Rossario Nancy Bigman (although his appearance was like that of a child in both stature and dress). "You're the lamest of them all, Monado boy!"

"We could also just wish for a base. I think that would work, too." Axel suggested.

The body of NeverBetter rose, like the holy ghost itself, but then exploded again when someone shot it. "Damn you all are loosers!" A cocky, arrogent, mama's boy toolbar voice said, as smoke fitted away from his gun. "You can't even kill some simple pegasi without destroying an entire building." The leader of a team said, climbing over the piles of dead horses with his possey. He was the leader of Alpha Pain, a top guild, Rossario Nancy Bigman (although his appearance was like that of a child in both stature and dress). "You're the lamest of them all, Monado boy!"

Reyn looked over to this so called "leader" and walked up to him, staring him dead in the eye. "What. Did. You. Call. Me?" His eyes widened as he stared down this man.

"What a curious item," muttered Nortanort, upon hearing about the Materia. "I don't suppose you happen to have one which could possibly do something to the moon? Or something like that?" he inquired, planet-dropping being one of his many hobbies.

Reyn's eyes widened, as he had an idea. "I'VE GOT IT!" He took out the Monado again and de-activated Shield, and held it out in front of him. "Monado...FINDER!" The Monado's circle then glowed Dark Green and a keypad with letters appeared inside of it. A electronic voice came out from the Monado, saying, "This is the Monado Finder Arte, what would you like to find?" Reyn typed in the words, "Dragon Balls", and instantly the Circle turned into a radar, showing the locations of the balls all over the world. "Now this is the Monado's true power! Finding things for us conveninetly."

"Deus ex Monado, I guess. Well, that will cut down on the time, won't it?" Nortanort rhetorically asked. "So, to be sure I know what we're doing... We ARE going on a quest around this world to gather seven Dragon Balls, to revive our leader, who was accidently killed by the man now leading us to the Dragon Balls?" he non-rhetorically asked. He just wanted to be sure. 

 

And then Bigman appeared, shooting down the corpse of the newly risen NeverBetter. "You know, I'm going to get you for that, right?" he asked him, hefting his gun up. Of course, he wasn't going to shoot... but he wasn't going to tell Bigman that. "Unless of course my comrades get to you first," he added, seeing Reyn's reaction.

She pulled out the other pistol and emptied that clip.

Axel cringed when the leader of the other guild kicked Reyn. "Hey, don't hurt my guild members!" He shouted, and ran towards the guy. "Especially if you're just a little kid!" He slashed at the boy, too angry to think that he probably shouldn't fight by himself.

Kev dashed over to the writhing reyn and drew his sword. "Hey baby face, you cant do that to him! We may not be a top guild like you, but we deserve respect all the same!" His expression grew more serious. "Tell me im wrong and ill slice leg leg you kicked him with clean off and give it to him as a trophy."

Yuffie whips out a pistol and shoots at the man. "Hey! I stol... I mean, worked very hard for that Materia! You just wasted it!" Yuffie cried, upset. She shot at him again. Then again. And again. "Note to self, addendum the second: Never get on the bad side of ANY member," Nortanort thought, before shrugging. He pointed his gun at Bigman, and fired. However, the gun WAS on the Gag setting, so nothing bad came of this. He called out to his guild-mates, "Hey, do any of you have any spare ammunition? Anything will do, honestly. Heck, I'd use the building pieces themselves, if they weren't too big." He sighed, realizing he didn't even have any oil yet. "You dodged the bullets? Very interesting," he noted to himself, pulling out a notepad, as he started to make notes. 

Neko clapped her hands together.

"TO NEVERBETTER!!" She called to the heavens, and Silver and Neko were teleported straight to the action.

"I'm a witch. But don't tell anyone." Neko whispered to silver.

However when they arrived, Neverbetter was gone.

"WHERE DID NEVERBETTER GO?!" She yelled.

Neko clapped her hands together. "TO NEVERBETTER!!" She called to the heavens, and Silver and Neko were teleported straight to the action. "I'm a witch. But don't tell anyone." Neko whispered to silver. However when they arrived, Neverbetter was gone. "WHERE DID NEVERBETTER GO?!" She yelled.

One of the thugs laughed. "Blown up because of that big lame balooka with the wonkey sword."

Neko clapped her hands together."TO NEVERBETTER!!" She called to the heavens, and Silver and Neko were teleported straight to the action."I'm a witch. But don't tell anyone." Neko whispered to silver.However when they arrived, Neverbetter was gone."WHERE DID NEVERBETTER GO?!" She yelled.

"Hes dead" kev said mid swing, suddenly perfectly calm. "reyn killed him. were gonna find the Dragon Balls and rez him, but we need to teach this jerk not to mess with this guild first."

Well that was surprising. Silver though, and for a moment he wondered if that was how she attained her demon's tail. He did not say a word about it, though, as he held almost too hard upon his sword's hilt. He and Neko go off on their own, and look at the mess that happened! Silver couldn't believe it, and his tail lashed as he gently pulled his sword out of its scabbard.

Few people had ever seen Silver get this mad...because, well, he rarely ever got mad. But this was one of those times where the ruckus before him snapped a small nerve.

 

"And just what the hell is going on here?" Silver asked, his sword beginning to glow. If he had to, he'd be sure to teach the culprits about how easy it was to sever limbs.

Neko immidently drew, and point her gun at the unfamiliar looking guy.

"HE WAS MY FRIEND WHY DID YOU KILL HIM." She yelled, starting to randomly shoot.

Her aim was terrible.

Reyn slowly got back up after the nut kick and grabbed both Kev and Axel, and pulled them back. "No guys...This is my fight, i got this." He slowly walked over to the brat again. "So, you think you can mock me, my friends, and worst of all, call me, MONADO BOY? Oh, you're asking for it you brat. In fact...Just because you called me that, you get a special treat. You get..." He pulled out the Monado and looked at it. "You know what to do. PURGE ACTIVATE!"

 

The monado did go into Purge mode, but instead of Reyn using it to attack the boy, the Monado flew out of Reyn's hand, all on it's own. It flew towards the boy, and hit him straight in the face, Reyn turned away and began walking back to the others. "You might wanna get down and watch the fun now."

Without hesitation, Yuffie kissed the guy square in the lips. She occupied him with her own tongue, making sure to give him a lot of pressure. Surprisingly.... She was pretty good at it. Was she a natural? Or had she been... Practicing? In any case, as she made out with the guild leader, making sure to give him the time of his life, she prepared her plan. Then, she put it into action, swinging her body over his shoulder, kicking him in the back of the legs and making doubly sure that his lips were bleeding with a small kunai. Now behind him, she grinned. "If you want just a pretty face, go find another guild with some chicks that have the hots for you, because I happen to be uninterested."

"EWWWWWWW." Neko suddently broke the moment completely.

She cringed at the sight of this.

"I'm going to end up vomiting my pie..."

Kev, now no longer allowed to fight, went over to very agitated neko and began to explain. "Reyn killed him, technically, but it was an accident. Yuffie had a revive material-thing and brought him back, but that jerk shot him and now we need to find the dragon balls to wish him back. first however, we need to beat the everliving shit out of him, so go ahead and use that anger for that. with that, kev hit the deck as instructed.

"Ugh, fine..." Axel responded to Reyn. "I was going to say something really cool, too..." He complained. He saw Yuffie start to kiss the bad guy, and quickly turned back. "I don't want to watch anything right now" He told Reyn. "Especially... That."

The madness contenued, to an insane rate. Every thing had gone from a mildly insane fight with pegasai with questionable ideals to batshit crazy madness. And then, this happened. The Purge muted the voice of the illustrious leader, smacking him plane in the face, and knocked the love struck cassonova down. Out of nowhere, next, a man dressed in black slammed a pancake the size of Uganda on his and his entire team's faces, yet did no damage to anyone of the team.

 

"I'm glad Friendly Fire isn't on!" The cheerful voice of NeverBetter choked out in laughter. He wasn't dead, in fact, he was quite alive. The Monado then flew to him, landing in his hand. "Monado, sweeten the deal!" The Monado transformed into a bottle of gigantic syrup, and NeverBetter poured it on the pancake. "And now!" He threw the Monado, a beam if light emerged from it as it landed, and...

 

"Boom"

 

 

Another massive explosion, however this time, the blast didn't hit NeverBetter, despite the fact it seem to engulf him. "And that my friends is how you fake a death and circumvent an entire boss fight" he yelled, upon landing.
