Holidays are known as the most happiest days of the year. They bring joy and cheer all year round. Sometimes however, dark entities threaten that joy. These entities are known as Gloom: the uttermost manifestation of darkness. Gloom can take the form of horrid monsters, or liquid that can effect the blood and harm the infected. They also possess people, fueling rage and violence. They are even known to manipulate the holidays themselves. Because of this, the holidays have formed a pact in order to prevent the Glooms from tampering with the human world. Some holidays however, have turned against their fellow friends in order to follow the darkness of Gloom. Recently, this darkness has rose dramatically in power. Will you do anything in your power to fight it? Or will you do everything in your power to protect it?

Bio/Personality: As the son of Santa, normally people would expect young Nick to be jolly and happy. He's the exact opposite. Nick is rather uptight, and is often drunk off of Eggnog mixed with Vodka. He gets aggravated very easily, and has terrible patience. He's fooled or tricked very easily however despite this, he can be clever and creates great plans. He also trusts others very easily. Despite living centuries with the big guy at the North Pole, Nick is almost always on the Naugty List.

Bio/Personality: As the holiday of Dia de Los Muertos, Manuel is very religious. Despite this, he is somewhat immature, as he loves to mess with others especially Nick Claus. He is very smart and is a guy most people love to be around. He is very laid back and relaxed most of the time, always going with the flow. Any mention of demons however, and Miguel will immediately bless the place. He recently got infected with Gloom after fighting some of the monsters off, however he is one of the few people so far able to control the darkness inside.

 

I asked for either a PS4 with Destiny or a PS3 with 2.5. I really hope I get the PS4 actually.

Sorry, you guys might not see Aurora for a little while longer, if she even makes it past Clover. If I am going to give her the good idealist traits, I need to use the bad ones as well, including the annoying introverted idealist tendency to not be great at working in groups due to not being able to explain their complicated ideas, and their resulting tendency to try to take on the world all alone. I am allowed to insult them because I am one.

Just realized that I technically have two characters now... So Saturn needs a theme too!

Oh, and Naegi... Sorry that Saturn is so hard to respond to. Just remember that she is having a moral dilemma because she hates humans but cares a lot about Aurora, which does not really work. And she has spent the last 1600 years in basically solitary confinement with no stimulus. A healthy person can't last a week in solitary with their five senses, so... Well, she might be a bit insane.

 No it's fine my characters are rarely villains in an rp so I'm a little confused on how to talk evil. Eh I'll get the hang of it.

Appearance: working on it , for now just picture Aurora in slightly darker colors.

Powers: scythe wielding- Saturn is far above average on using a scythe. (Two minutes on Wikipedia can tell you that much.) In addition she trained for centuries on improving her speed. (Actually, her blows aren't all that hard, she just uses speed and momentum to make them more powerful.)

Role reversal- can switch the emotions and roles of humans, and, to a lesser degree, holidays.

Sunset flames- scythes coated in flames are not the most friendly things. Then again, neither is Saturn.

Bio: Saturn was created by Aurora when Saturnalia began, as the holiday was tied into the Winter Solstice, but went against Aurora's ideals. (Actually, her creation was a bit by accident because Aurora was an emotional mess after the first few times. It reminded her too much of the Mayas, but neither of them regret that accident.) Later, Aurora was almost infected with Gloom, but Saturn pushed herself into control of most of their mind to prevent Aurora from being hurt by it. In the end this was relatively futile, she was able to contain most of the gloom, but Aurora could feel Saturn's emotions and her mind was affected as well (to a slightly lesser extent), after a few years (the gloom had centuries, though.) At the fall of the Empire, Saturn disappeared, taking the gloom with her.

Personality: A bit arrogant, hates "mortals," is far more aggressive than her counterpart, and cynical. In contrast she is extremely loyal to Aurora, especially after the gloom incident, as Aurora helped her process the messed up emotions a bit and such (and Aurora created her and is her closest friend, not that Saturn would think of that much.)

The souls dug their claws and teeth against Grim. The sound of ripping flesh and bites echoed as the souls hanged onto grim like lions on its prey. They bit against his skin, clawing at him as if trying to consume him and his essence of life. "Bring us back!" "Give me life!" "Give me your life!"

Mhm, poor Grim.

What I would like to know is if anyone has a plan for getting rid of the gloom. I have studied a bit of neurology (potentially useful but ineffective on a larger scale, and overly dependent on the immune system rejecting the gloom), psychology ( inconclusive), and a lot of history [a handful of economic depressions/ recovery, renaissance, ect. (Looked promising on a more global scale, but effective only on a few countries, and would require the help of trade and commerce holidays... And we lost Mercury and Kuro...)]. So... Any ideas? (Please tell me you have something?) I doubt they would get far on the elements and the power of love.
