I've purchased Shantae & The Pirate's Curse on launch day from the Wii U e-shop as soon as the Wii U version was released.This is my first Shantae game and I was very excited for this game ever since it's announcement and I gotta say: I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH ^_^

 

 

I got instantly hooked as soon as I began the game,the fantastic soundtrack,the beautiful sprite art and charming artstyle,everything blends so well together and I'm having a blast playing it

 

I'll try to check out both the first game and Risky's Revenge when I can but right now,This and Smash Bros is what I'm gonna spend the rest of my holidays on

 

This game is like a love letter to me as a fan of classic platformers and it might be one of my favorite games of 2014

 

It's on both Wii U and 3DS so please do yourself a favor and give it a shot ^_^

I saw the trailer not too long ago on the Wii U eshop and the game looks pretty good,it looks like a great SNES platformer.I'll buy it as soon as possible along with Shovel Knight.

Dude This game reminds me of everything I loved about the 16-bit era of platforming.Kinda reminds me of the good old days of Capcom even though it's not made by them

Well the first game on the Gameboy Color was published by Capcom but they abandoned the Shantae IP after that

 

This game however was co-developed with Inti-Creates,the people who made Megaman 9,10 the Megaman Zero games and the Megaman ZX games
