It was confirmed in the recent live-stream of Bravely Second that the heroine of the first game named Edea Lee will return in the sequel as well. Today, we have received our first look at the character, courtesy of Famitsu Magazine.

The image which you can see above, is taken from the magazine and it shows Edea in all her glory. She is a bit changed as a more grown up look has been given to her. Famitsu also reveals that Edea is now the leader of the Imperial Guard Knights.

Moreover, it has been reported that she will play a very important role in the story and will be among the main characters of the game. However, it is still uncertain whether she will be added as a playable character or not.

Asterisk holders that made an appearance in the first game will be back in Bravely Second as well, and Edea will be able to “judge” them. Furthermore, a new feature named as Barter Sub-Scenario System has also been mentioned in the magazine. I am sure we will be finding more about it in the near future.

Finally, the magazine contains information regarding the Pâtissier job, so be sure to check on the latest issue which is scheduled to come out this Thursday.

Now, all that we need is Ringabel.

and here's something.

Yup, saw that. Cool new design too, unlike Agnes. Wonder if she's a playable character or not.

Does anybody else get the feeling someone at Square Enix just discovered the word Pâtissier last year?
