This is with terra. It's funny after a while of struggling aganist no heart and vanitas lingering spirit, i finally beat both of them, in that order, and now i have what they say is the strongest keyblade in the game and i decide to fight mysterious figure only to find out he can kill me in one go. 

 

How the H.E. double hockey stick can you beat mysterious figure with terra at level 58. I normally don't ask, but somebody help me.

terra is a difficult person to play as with this. as his movement ability doesn't give him a momentary invincibility status. my only advice here is just to level him up as much as you can and try to familiarize yourself with his attack patterns. thunder surge as well.

The cheap (and most reliable method) is Thunder Surge. Load up a deck of Thunder Surge, Cure, Thunder Surge, Cure, Thunder Surge, etc. Use Thunder Surge. Heal if necessary, scroll down if not (all while dodging). Repeat until you either need to heal or you get to the Command Style. It's a bit easier to strike him with that, although you'll probably get overconfident and then get nailed anyway, bringing you back to Heal/Thunder Surge/repeat.

 

I actually liked this fight because there is a very obvious and workable strategy, but it still requires dexterity and timing to pull off right. It blows with Terra, though, because his dodging is just baaad.

use dash timely because spamming will get you killed, and use only thunder surge. make sure you have the one-life ability too

I'm level 99 and still struggling to bring him to the "vanish" fight step.

I guess with Terra it's a bit harder, but with a Thunder Surge and Curaga Deck, and some decent timing, you can do it, as long as you have Once More and Second Chance, without those your toast. I honestly thought he was gonna be harder.With Ven and Aqua, spam Dodge Roll and Cartwheel and you can actually get through most of the battle without even getting hit. I beat MF with Terra at level 99, but i beat'em with ventus at level 39, I am playing on Standard mode though.
