Hey there everyone, how's it going?  Well then, last night I saw the Re:Coded story cutscenes with my best friends/soul brothers Jonathan and Dennys,(and we fanboyed a hell lot with the hype building!) and well, when this little scene came into light, I was open mouthed and fanboying like crazy! :D  Take a look!

So, it seems that Maleficent and Pete will probably be searching for this Book Of Prophecies in Kingdom Hearts III, and if they got their hands on it, then damn, things would be total chaos!  Now that I've begun to see the KHX walkthrough, I'm excited to learn more of this Book Of Prophecies!  What do you all think?  Will Maleficent and Pete find this book in Kingdom Hearts III?

I still believe it was done unintentionally though since a few characters had personality from the organization.

Larxene, Demyx, Lexaeus are a few examples of characters with personality.

While Saix, Luxord, Xaldin where left with no personality at all.

I also hated the fact that it had like 12 male characters and only 1 original female character (2 if you count Xion who was another Kairi clone). Just wanted to say that...

Yeah, they originally wanted to make Marluxia a female but they didn't want both rebels of the organisation to be female. Personally, that's a really stupid part on Square, a female Marluxia would have been so much more unique that the Marluxia we know. Actually, Larxene should have been the primary villain for Chain Of Memories: she was evil in every sense of the word.

Well, now all I want is my dream for a Disney Thirteen Seekers Of Darkness to be achieved for Kingdom Hearts 3.

I have a theory why they changed Marluxia from Female to Male.

Since the Nobodies of the original selves (somebodies) are not exactly the same as their somebodies, which made me think that Marluxia's somebody will be a girl which will appear in KH3 and it will be explained that she changed into a guy when she lost her heart.

I appreciate the warm and positive reception to my theory fellow cyborg.

If you think about, like really think about it, the book of prophecies may have already been used within Sora's journey. Lets take a gander at the first enemy in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Ursula.

But wait, why is Ursula out of all characters a prime example? simple. Remember how she states "Oh, he was right. Those wretched guppies are here". Two candidates fill in the role of her supposed revival: Pete and Xehanort. Now seeing as Pete nor Maleficent have not received the book of prophecies yet, it is clearly Xehanort that has told Ursula to attack Sora and Riku in his and their home world. But wait, what happens after we defeat the Ursula in Dream Drop Distance? she vanishes. She does not get destroyed, she does not transform into a from of energy or another being... she simply vanishes... like an illusion. The book of prophecies states that it can "recreate" world, events and "beings". KH3D Ursula was a manifestation created by the tome of prophecies.

Now seeing as there are many different variations of Xehanort, which Xehanort has had contact with the tome of prophecies? Young Xehanort was clearly too busy recruiting and gathering all the members. Master Xehanort no longer had the power to travel through time and he was setting the Birth By Sleep events in motion... so that leaves Adult Master Xehanort. He must have been the member to have had contact with the book of prophecies and set events such as Ursula's revival into play.

Now, what does that mean for Maleficent and Pete? simple, Maleficent can get in contact with the book of prophecies and foresight how she gets defeated only to revive the original Disney villain council, recruit new members and take the seven princes of light to clash against Maleficent's thirteen darkness's and be ruler of all worlds. Now in terms of members, here's who I think they will be for Maleficent thirteen seekers of darkness.

1: Maleficent

2: Pete

3: Jafar

4:Ursula

5:Hades

6:Captain Hook

7:Scar

8:Hans

9:King Candy

10: Yokai

11:Shan Yu

12:Syndrome

13: Lotso

^ If this happens, Kingdom Hearts 3 really will be a mixture of Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2.

O.O

I-I never thought of that!  All this time I thought that Ursula appearing in 3D was part of Sora and Riku's Mark Of Mastery exam, that they were already in the Dream Realm!  But after reading everything you've explained...it makes so much sense!  How were you able to discern all of this?  Did you immediately notice the connection!?  Good God, what a wonderful slice of speculation we have here!

Damn, if 13 Disney Seekers Of Darkness were assembled, Sora and the gang would be screwed by two giant groups of villains!  They'd be pushed up into a corner and forced to go to their limits...I love it!  Now I want this to happen!  And when you think about it, it makes sense!  Seeing as how Sora and the gang will be busy fighting against Xehanort's 13 Darknesses, Maleficent could use the Book Of Prophecies to assemble an entourage of Disney villains to kidnap the Princesses Of Heart, thus, making the inevitability of either group obtaining Kingdom Hearts a very high possibility! :O

Well, the way in which I came to a conclusion like that was due to the following thoughts that entered into my head.

1) Why was Ursula out of all villains placed as the first enemy to go against in Dream Drop Distance? especially in Destiny Islands? They could have easily placed a nightmare there and not reveal it to be a nightmare until Yen Sid explained it to be so... that made no sense to me... until I seen the news that Chirithy was a Dream Eater. Alongside the news of the tome of prophecies recreating worlds, events and beings, that meant that the revival of Ursula no longer felt ambiguous and out of place. If the tome of prophecies recreated the character for KH Chi then why couldn't it recreate the events of the console tilted Kingdom Hearts game?

2) If Xehanort revived her, what was Ursula going to get out of it? you see, Square Enix are respectful with the traits of the Disney characters used. Therefore, it stands to reason that Ursula made a business like proposition with Xehanort once was revived (as she acts like a business woman in The Little Mermaid). But what could Ursula gain by listening to Xehanort? Well, If Xehanort was able to inform Maleficent about other worlds, the keyblade war and Kingdom Hearts, it stands to reason that Ursula's agenda to defeat Sora and Riku would be greater than just revenge.

3) Why does Maleficent have a group of Disney villains to aid her (either directly from Kingdom Hearts 1 or using Pete from Kingdom Hearts 2)? She has the ego and the resources to rule all worlds all by her own. Why gain more villains to join her fray? The speculation only came to play once Xehanort revealed that he told Maleficent about other worlds and the seven princesses of light. Well, is that all Xehanort told Maleficent? In order to open Kingdom Hearts, you need seven lights and thirteen darkness's. Surely he would not leave that out of the equation when talking to Maleficent about the possibilities of ruling worlds? So Maleficent would naturally gain Disney villains from other worlds to harbor 13 darkness's.

Long story short, Maleficent and Pete are not going to be just comedic fodder this time around. The goal of finding the book of prophecies makes them both a legitimate threat especially seeing as none of the protagonists (except maybe Yen Sid) are currently aware of it. Two equally villanous fractions with either of them guaranteeing Kingdom Hearts is not too far off the question.

As for the Disney 13 Seekers Of Darkness, I changed Shan Yu to Dr. Facilier seeing as Shan Yu never allied with Pete in his debut

Baymax, you analytically genius robot, that is an amazing theory!  To think that this may very well be what Maleficent seeks to use The Book Of Prophecies for...it's just mind boggling!  If this is what she aims to do, then Sora and the gang will be a in a very deep abyss of trouble!  Not only will they have to deal with Xehanort and his Thirteen Darknesses...they'll have to deal with Maleficent and her entourage too!  Oh crud, now I really want this to happen!  You see, I love villains, and well, seeing them overpower the heroes is something that always makes me happy. xD

Thank you very much. I'm just thankful that you haven't found any inconsistencies or loopholes within my theory. And you know what, Maleficent, no, the Disney villains in general deserve a sense of redemption. Kingdom Hearts 1 really made them a force to be reckoned with and they were casted aside for Kingdom Hearts 2. It's been made abundantly clear that Xehanort's Organisation will be the primary antagonistic force, but, with a game as grand as Kingdom Hearts 3, something along the lines of this would not be out of the question. Maleficent and Pete were always a separate force from Xehanort since Kingdom Hearts 2.

Well there is a few possible situations... I guarantee she will (again) help Sora in some way... Or try to gain Riku back... I don't know.

True, true...it's all just one big mystery for now! :3

No, I do not want that to happen. That was just downright embarrassing for Maleficent and Pete (I was disgusted when that happened). They're classic Disney villains, they deserve to make the most of that role in Kingdom Hearts.

They proved to be quite the anti-heroes in KHII, but I agree, it's high time that they revert to their villainous playfield again! :D
