well ansem took rikus body so riku took his place where ansems body was

Well, when Riku regained control over his body again he helped seal the door to darkness by going on the other side of the door in order to help Sora close it and seal it with his keyblade and mickey's keyblade. So that way the worlds won't be over-run by heartless. And when it was sealed Riku and mickey were trapped in the realm of darkness with no way out until the events of chain of memories happened.

He wasn't asking that, he was asking how Riku got there in the first place.

I'm not really sure, Kingdom Hearts has all these rules about bodies and spirits and the like.

He did say to Sora 'He can't hear you where he is' so I guess he just sent him there. Keep in mind he wanted to open the door to let the Heartless in, he probably already had the power to go there.

i thot he wanted the door open to reach kh

Alright I've figured it out. Riku's body was stolen and his heart was cast away in darkness right?. If you remember the door to darkness leads to the realm of darkness where all lost hearts gather so basically Riku's heart was behind the door the whole time. You see when Ansem called out to Kingdom Hearts and was overwhelmed by the light, Riku was able to regain his body. That's why he had appeared on the other side of the door since his heart was there the whole time.
