With all of the recent news about amiibo, and the fact that they're branching out to games outside of Smash, I figured this thread could be helpful for us amiibo fans.

 

For those who are unaware, amiibo are the new NFC figures Nintendo has been making. The only amiibo series currently released is the Super Smash Bros series, which recently had its third wave released. However, the Super Mario Bros series has also been announced, and wave four of the Smash Bros series will be coming soon.

 

So, to kick off the thread, we've got an official report from Nintendo regarding the port strike in the US, and its affects on North America's amiibo stock. It's also been said that an agreement seems to have been made with the strike, meaning the amiibo stock might increase soon!

Slow servers costed me Lucina, but was able to get Ness. If I can't get her by the time Target and TRU run out of preorders, figma it is then.

They opened pre-orders for Lucina (and Robin too, I suppose)? DANGIT! I've been checking online everyday for the past month to see if they were up for pre-order, and somehow I've missed both.

Easy cheap imports here I come.

I'm really pissed because I knew it would end up working this way and wanted to preorder them as soon as they went up, unfortunately, I have a job and must work to afford them in the first place. 

 

 

It was so bad, the site went down and the system crashed at Gamestop itself. Now they don't even have Ness listed, even though he should be regardless of his availability.

Scratch that, just a misunderstanding with the online part. The website did not update. All preorders were in store and broke the system there.

In-store preorders btw. They shut down the online site because of how bad the servers were for employees.

Ah. X_X Welp, that sucks for me then. I was just out today, went to GameStop and could've easily gone to Target had I known. *sigh* Guess I'll just see if I can get lucky when they're actually out (maybe Nintendo will fix the stock prob- of course they won't, but I guess I'll hope for the best).
