Posted March 1, 201510 yr Popular Post I wanted to post these ideas of mine, but that day I came home from my night class. Winter. Could this last act be the end? For the last days, your work receives encores. Could this be the end of your performance? Your soft solemn tears of ice blankets, the ground, the trees, everything. Fallen so peacefully from the sky, till the sky darkens. Spring is upon us. Soon you'll fade away. Soon this silence will die. Soon this chill will be no more. Everything will be reborn again. Farewell Winter.
March 1, 201510 yr That was a very beautiful poem indeed! Very melancholic and very fitting with the current changing of the seasons! Well done!
March 1, 201510 yr Author That was a very beautiful poem indeed! Very melancholic and very fitting with the current changing of the seasons! Well done! Thanks. Yeah, it was snowing that day. I still wished they canceled the night class, but they didn't. this is so beautiful! Thanks.
March 1, 201510 yr This poem really captures the transition of Winter to Spring, and I love how you alluded to the cycle of death and rebirth near the end. In Winter, everything is usually desolate and dead. When Spring arrives everything is "reborn" and life returns to nature and humanity. Just beautiful! But remember, when Winter leaves one place in the world, it always approaches to another. Peace!
