for those of you who already have the game, is there a merging of commands like materia fusion in crisis core

ie: can u take fire and an attack like strike raid or something, and combine it to get something like fire blade or something like that?

all i know is that that is kindof correct, you can take lightning and ventus's dodge move and make a ring of thunder appear around you when you roll or something like that

No, there are no combinations or fusions of atracks that you can make. But you can lvl up your abilities and attacks or go to the command board to lvl up your commands and get new commands instead.

Yeah, you can blend moves together. From what I can tell pretty much every mixture works though, unlike Crisis Core.

Like, every move I've seen can be blended with another move, instead of overwriting it.

Now sure how this works when blending actual commands (Like Strike Raid and Ars Solum, or something) Because I've never actually seen it.

But yeah, pretty cool.

Unfortunately, from what I can tell, you can't give yourself massive bonuses like in Crisis Core by fusing a munch of Materia (No Health plus 500% for you)

@Kingdom Hearts12: No, you can fuse commands, that's how you get things liek Thudner Dodge and such. It's also how you get Fira, and Firaga, etc. You blend two Fires to make Fira, two Frias to make Firaga.

That's how you learn abilities. You fuse two commands together (Like Fira + Fira = Firaga), and then you throw in a synthesis item, and you learn an ability, too. (Like Fire Boost, Second Chance, and Combo Plus). Then when you master the command, you permanently learn the ability.
