Caper the Fox 0 Posted March 15, 2015 I don't get why people think this is the easiest boss on the game because actually This is the hardest boss On the game even on beginner mode, but beginner mode only makes the enemies easier not the bosses.... Here's a recap 1 First i only had 3 recovery items (not potions) with some command move abilities that worked like a charm on random enemies but not on Braig. He attacks me very fast and mostly spends his time teleporting around the area like a coward every time i try to hit him. Braig is mopping the floor with me in an unfair way he spams the shit outta this laser move he uses on me until all my Health is depleted which doesn't give me a chance to use my recovery items. 2 So now i tried something else i replaced all my command moves with recovery moves for my health and potions, which seems to have worked. but every time i almost get all of his health depleted he changes his attacks and doubles them by doing a powerful dash aka instant ko'd attack that depletes all of my health all at once even when it's full so even recovery items did not help. (it's got to be luck for the recovery items to help) 3 i beated him last night but then I lost on the boss battle that came after him because he didn't give me a chance to use my recovery items So what am i doing wrong? having recovery items in my deck worked on other bosses on the game but why not him? He spams his moves like a madman. because he knows I'll go for my recovery items. and i feel like a fool just spending most of the times dodging because it takes the battle alot longer than what it already is. And Aqua's Level is 29 If anyone knows of something that can help me beat him and the boss after him please let me know.
DragonMaster 1,166 Posted March 16, 2015 I'm with you on this one, every boss fight against Xigbar/Braig ranks among the most challenging for me. I absolutely hate fighting him cause those stupid arrows always murder me. First thing I would say is try blocking his attacks. It'll probably take you a couple of tries to get the correct timing down (it did for me at least), but once you get it you'll be reflecting the arrows back at him. Another thing I would recommend is melding Renewal Barrier, which is: Curaga (Max Lv) x Barrier or Eusana x Barrier* (note: you'll need two have at least one extra barrier command aside from the one you have equipped) This will make it so that you get healed every time you block an attack, which is extremely helpful with the final bosses as well as the secret bosses. It might also be beneficial to level up a couple more times, I believe I was about level 32-34 when I fought Aqua's final bosses. Aside from that, I don't really remember any specific strategy to beat him, so you might want to wait for other people to post if you need more help in that regard. *Melding guide: http://www.destinyislands.com/bbs/melding/other-commands/ 1 decisivesora123 reacted to this
hatok 6,413 Posted March 16, 2015 when all else fails spam shotlocks
decisivesora123 39 Posted March 16, 2015 He's the easiest Boss because all you have to do is know which attacks to dodge and which attacks to reflect. After battling him so much you should have that down. You could also figure out when to shot lock. Or you can play without shotlockst and attack with a three hit combo run away and reflect and repeat. Another option is to level up and fight him the way you have been fighting him. Honestly you can fight him without potions and just have renewal reflect and you would still win.
