Lee

His body slumped against the side of a building, Lee slowly opened his eyes, his thick eyebrows arching over his forehead.

"Agh... my head..." He said to himself, rubbing the back of his head as he stood up and took in his surroundings. From what he remembered, the last place he was in was his home of the Hidden Leaf Village. Now, as he turned a corner, he found himself in an ominous town-looking setting, filled with buildings stairs and street lamps. Everything was painted a dull gray color, and coupled with the flashing lights and big spaces, it looked almost futuristic.

"This place... I have no idea where I am... is this some kind of strange, new village?" Lee asked himself, looking around and noticing the other people scattered around the vicinity. They were almost alien to Lee, as if they were from different worlds...

"He does not seem to be a person who takes much things seriously... even so, he is certainly up to something, and it has something to do with the man Akame and I met..." Lee said.

  • 3 weeks later...

"Well either way, he'll be talking once we interrogate him." Soul replied, as a reflection of him appeared on the scythe. Maka sprinted off toward Izaya's direction, gaining on him as he ran through the city. With a quick nod to her weapon, the meister aimed her scythe vertically at the man, throwing it in his direction.

Izaya smiled gleefully at the approaching weapon, prepared to sidestep from it's reach. With his hands in his pockets, he leaped to the left after calculating the distance.

"Bastard!" Soul yelled as their weapon missed, Izaya turning another corner before vanishing out of sight. Maka caught up to her partner while she clenched her fist. "He got away. What should we do know?"

"That man is most likely going to escape to another world. We should follow them. Akame and I could also use your assistance on this matter," Lee asked the two students from DWMA.

"You got it." Soul replied, ready to chase after their enemy. Maka nodded as well. "Do whatever you need to do to catch up to him." She added.

Izaya found himself on a different world, away from his pursuers. Giving a big sigh, he slumped back, the wounds he took finally kicking in. "Well that was an educational experience. They don't seem to be that powerful, but they have potential."

??? / Raditz / Lee

-- Unknown World --

"I agree. They are more powerful than we first imagined," said a shadowy figure next to Izaya, with Raditz not too far behind. The three villains were all placed in some enclosed base covered in darkness, only a few sets of candles reflecting off the orange brick walls to keep enough light in the room.

"Huh. Looks like the big bad ninja boy isn't as keen as he thought he was," Raditz chuckled.

"Enough. You're in no position in talk considering your recent actions," the man growled, making Raditz scoff and turn away.

"Either way... there are still other agents surrounding the worlds at this moment. They are bound to run into them all. And soon, they will be crushed," the figure spoke, his black eyes suddenly flashing red.

-- The Heroe's Train --

"Well, now that everybody is situated, we can begin our journey to the next world," Lee announced. He, Akame, Soul and Maka were all clustered inside the train after Lee used the small device in his pocket to teleport them all back inside. "Hmm, I guess the best option is to just pick the next world closest to the one we have just visited," Lee said.

"Ah! Here we go! Let us venture to this world!" Lee said, spotting a world that took on the appearance of a large gate between some mountains. Lee drove the train forward.

Arriving on in the world, the group found themselves in a mountainous and rocky area, similar to what was seen from inside the train.

"This place seems deserted," Lee noted. "Maybe we should see if we can find information from somebody who lives here?"

(Sorry about taking so long to post)

Akame nodded. "I agree. We should take a look around this world as well. I doubt that those two men we fought before are the only threats we'll face." She responded to Lee. "Are there any towns nearby we could go to...?" She peered around the landscape, but had trouble spotting any place that even remotely resembled a town, or even an individual home.

Soul placed his hands behind his head as he scrutinized the area. "Looks pretty lame to me. We should probably just move on." His meister searched for signs of life as they walked forward in unison. "Akame is right, we might find someone here. If only we could find an actual town..." She sighed.

"Hey, who are you guys?" A voice asked from behind the heroes. If they turned around, they would have seen a slightly short man with buck teeth and wearing armor and a drawn sword. After pausing for a second, he turned and ran around the side of the mountain. More voices could be heard, but the words couldn't quite be made out. Finally, the man returned. This time, behind him were several dozen other men, all seeming like soldiers. Leading them was a boy about the age of the heroes, atop a warhorse, wearing blue armor and holding a glaive in his hands. On his back was a sheathed sword. The leader looked down on the heroes. "Well, answer his question? Who are you?" He asked. He then pointed his glaive towards them. "And under which flag are you? Qin? Wei? Han? Well?" He looked to them, expecting an answer. Behind him, among the men were murmurs about the identities of the people they had happened upon up here in the mountain. Down in the valley, people were beginning to stir. The battle that had been halted for the night was about to begin once more.

Soul turned around without intimidation, staring at leader straight in the eye. "What's it to ya?" Fortunately, Maka was more sensible when it came to strangers. "I'm Maka, and we're looking for strange people around these parts. We're not from here, but we have reason to think that someone is plotting something dangerous. Have you seen anything off, lately?" She shot a quick glance toward her weapon. "Oh, and that idiot's Soul."

"Please, we are not enemies. There is no need to be alarmed," Lee said, stepping up the huge group of soldiers.

"You see, we are looking for some people who we believe are out to cause danger. Have you seen anybody suspicious around this area?" Lee asked.

"As the other two said, we are not trying to cause any harm." Akame confirmed Maka and Lee's statements. "We are simply here looking for an enemy. My name is Akame." She introduced herself, realizing that this wasn't anywhere where she could potentially be recognized. "We would appreciate it if you could help us find who we are looking for, but we understand if you can not."

(Just to clarify, Carolina and I talked it over, and she agreed to let me control the army characters sans her own)

"Hmm... judging by your attires, you seem to be a neutral party. And your tone is somewhat sincere. Still, we can't be too sure," the buck toothed general replied. It did not seem that the heroes would be getting out of this scenario cleanly. All the more time for Raditz, Izaya, and whoever else was working for the ominous world-hopping group to continue their ambiguous, dastardly plan...

Shin glanced from person to person of this new party. He had to agree with Bi Hei, they did not seem to be under any flags, and their words did not suggest any ulterior motive. In fact, spies or caught enemy soldiers would never give such a passive story. Shin smiled towards them, then nodded towards the buck-toothed soldier. "Stand down Bi Hei, I can handle this." Shin said. He leaped down from his horse to the ground with the others. "I might know where some suspicious people like you are, but first you have to help me." Shin said, crossing his arms over his chest like he was feeling superior. A girl a few years younger than Shin approached him on her own horse.

"Shin, we need to get moving or the plan won't work. And you shouldn't trust these guys anyway." She said, sounding anxious and worried.

"Don't worry so much Ka Ryo Ten, it'll work out fine. Besides, you guys seem strong. And I've seen plenty of strong people around. If you help me get the head of the commander down there, then I'll help you get your suspicious people." Shin told them. Down in the valley, more soldiers were stirring, getting back into positions. The battle was going to begin again any moment now. Ka Ryo Ten, the strategist of the Hi Shin Unit simply shook her head, muttering.

"Kyou Kai isn't going to appreciate a delay like outsiders... and if we don't get going soon the plan might not work at all."

Maka and Soul nodded at the general, curious of what they were planning. If Shin knew were to find their enemies, any delay would be detrimental to their efforts. "Well, if you insist, count us in." Soul replied hastily, with the secret hope that he could test out Witch Hunter against a group of soldiers. Maka simply hook her head at her partner's latest scheme at 'being cool'. "I bet you're pretty good at assassinations, Akame. Why don't you show us a thing or two about taking heads?"

  • 1 month later...

(Sorry about the late reply, Firaga reminded me to post here again.)

Akame nodded. "Yes, I could help teach you a little if you need it." She responded to Maka. "I am also willing to help in this battle. Hopefully, my skills will be of assistance." She was still bothered that Murasame wasn't working properly, but knew that she was still capable of battling well without the sword's curse.
