Tails 6,692 Posted August 8, 2010 I LOVED yogi bear and the smurfs as a kid!!! I wonder how this live movie will turn out? Anyway, these two new movies look like it gonna be epic fail. Seriously, how many times are they gonna mix my childhood cartoon shows with the real world? I mean garfield, and Avatar the last airbender movie were both fail. I mean the only GOOD movie that didn't fail was who framed Roger Rabbit.

Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted August 8, 2010 They really firetrucked the pooch this time with putting Yogi Bear live action ._. They have ruined the good name of Yogi Bear, and the Smurfs. I hope WB doesn't try to ruin another Hanna-Barbera classic.
rho 9 Posted August 8, 2010 The Smurfs movie has the most random ass cast ever. Who would have guessed Wolfgang Puck, Jeff Foxworthy, Katy Perry and George Lopez would end up in the same movie? A few years ago I heard they planned to release a Jetsons movie in 2009, but I guess it was scrapped. Speaking of animated things becoming movies, You know what could possibly be the best anime movie adaption ever? Tim Burton. Soul Eater. It is PERFECT territory for him. Johnny Depp could also make a pretty damn good Stein. Excalibur and Lord Death would probably be mostly CG, though. I mean, just look at it. It already looks like it could have been made by Tim Burton, especially with that creepy sun and moon.
