Kingdom Hearts III Death Problem!

Posted

As you may have noticed in the Kingdom Hearts series, no one ever dies.

Except for Master Eraqus who might return in KH3, I don't know.

Just like everyone, I want a happy ending for KH3 but nobody ever dies for some reason. There is always a way for them to return and that may be great for the fans of each character, it kind of gets annoying for the characters to NEVER actually die.

So, is it just me who wants a character from the Kingdom Hearts series to die for good? Just for the tears?

The problem with death in the Kingdom Hearts series is that all the characters are beloved, be they heroes or villains!  The only way I can see someone from the main cast dying in Kingdom Hearts III is if Nomura and the gang make a clever, well written and unpredictably surprising scenario in which said character or characters meet their demise!  But as for anyone dying, I think that Terra would be the one most likely to die.  I've mentioned this some times before!

Just imagine it.  Xehanort and the Thirteen Darknesses have Sora and the Guardians Of Light at a mortally huge disadvantage, where they have no chance of winning! Then, when Xehanort is about to perform his most deadly attack, Terra gets in the way, absorbs all the impact of the attack, and retaliates with an extremely powerful attack that causes his life force to fade away.  And as he fades away, he glances over his shoulder at Aqua and Ven, and then he says: "Aqua...Ven...I told you that someday...I'd make things right..." and then he dies!  That's how I imagine it, anyway. :3

But yeah, I really don't want any of the heroes to die. X3

If something like that happened, I would cry so much!

It would make an amazing and depressing death because I really wanted that trio to be together in the end.

Now I'm not sure if I'm liking or hating the idea of characters dying in the series.

I will definately be open to it but it would make me really emotional and it would ruin the happy ending I had imagined for everyone.

I have no more likes to give anymore!

Well, as heart-wrenching as that is, it does redeem Terra and the careless actions he caused throughout the series. I find it surprising that Disney can pull of character deaths and Square Enix doesn't. It's usually the other way around.

That was so sad!

It's too emotional!  I'm really torn on the idea of characters from the main cast dying!  Everyone's had nothing but misery so far, so a happy ending is in order, but at the same time, I want to see some more suffering! It's so hard to choose! xD

That's the mystery of it all, eh?  And I get what you're saying about Disney killing off characters in their movies, they do know how to tug at our heartstrings!  Just look at Tadashi's death in Big Hero 6!  That was frickin sad! D:

But yeah, if there's going to be death in Kingdom Hearts, it should be handled with utmost care!
