It's futuristic. So what?! Treyarch was making this game since 2013, thinking people would like it, then Advanced Warfare showed up, causing people to get mad about freaking Exo Suits and causing even more people to complain about how they want to go back to World War 2 even though we've been through practically all of it. If I made a topic just like this, sorry.

Thats three.

I think most FPS games are running out of real world event ideas, so the only way to continue making and milking money is to make futuristic games. Yes, I agree. We don't need to go back to WW2 because we already experienced major battles from that era, and who wants the same background over and over again? (Well, in terms of gameplay, it gets pretty repetitive each game imo :/ )

After BO2, I got sick of the series and desire more realism, so I switched to Battlefield series (3 and 4), and while the games were pretty awesome, 4 kinda left me a bad taste due to buggy as hell launch. While I wait for BF5, I played a little Advance Warfare with my friend, and I was surprised to see a huge change in gameplay style in AW, and I applaud Sledgehammer games for pulling it off. Now, I want to see what Treyarch is going to do with Black Ops 3, esp. the new Zombies mode. I want a remake of that mode in particular, for I had many expectations and most of them failed to meet them.

This year of video games is starting to get pretty interesting.

I think he forgot to include Black Ops 2.

Ah, nope. Dunno why I pressed 4 instead of 3.

Anyway, thing is...

Sledgehammer is the one that made AW. So we will probably see AW2 and 3 before we see anything new from them.

Infinity Ward made Ghosts and they will probably make Ghosts 2 and 3 before we see anything new from them too.

And now Treyarch is making Black Ops 3 so before we see their new series we will have to wait for Ghosts 2 and AW 2 to get out first. That's 3 more years.

It's silly to think this game series began in historical Battles to Jet packs and exosuits/halo, I can't take the series seriously anymore

I'm not really a fan of first person shooters, but I enjoyed the first two Black Ops, and I'm sure Black Ops 3 will be great, especially the zombies mode!  The Black Ops series are the only Call Of Duty games I own, and are the ones I enjoy the most!  And well, while I'm not too big of a fan of the whole futuristic war side of things, as a series, Call Of Duty needs to evolve if it wants to remain relevant, so I understand the shift from old school warfare to high tech warfare.

Deus Ex looks better
