I carefully navigated my truck through the dense forest path. Granted, I was still smashing roughly into trees a lot. Darn those trees!
After about 5 minutes later, I finally got to my destination, my vampire boyfriend's huge glass mansion. I attempted to climb gracefully out of the truck, but instead fell and landed flat on my face. Clumsy ol' me.
"Bella-Sue! Are you all right?!" My beautiful vampire boyfriend, Edward McSparkles, ran over to me. Since he's a vampire, he can move super fast. Almost as fast as the speed of light!
"Yes, sweetie, I'm fine," I chirped daintily. I swiftly pulled myself up, only to fall quickly back down on my butt again. Darn my clumsiness!
"Here, let me help you," Edward whispered. He gently picked me up and kissed me passionately. I laughed happily and hugged him slowly, in order to savor the moment. Unfortunately, I stubbed my toe painfully on a rock. Darn that rock!
"Ow," I cried, "That really hurt."
"How was your ride here, Bella-Sue?" Edward asked, blatantly ignoring my woeful cry of pain.
"It's was pretty good. This ol' truck seems like it'll last me a lifetime." I happily patted the rusty driver's side door, only to have to fall of and land in the dirt. Darn that door!
"Come into the house, dear. You're just in time to have dinner with my family and I." Edward smiled sexily and put his arm gently around me.
"Sounds great!" I chirped cheerfully. When we finally got in the house and into the dining room, I noticed suspiciously that, even though the McSparkles family was seated happily around the table, there were no plates set out, and there was no food in sight.
"Are we still having dinner?" I asked hungrily. My dad, Marly, had burned breakfast again. I had told him that cereal was a fool-proof food, and that he could probably make it if he tried, but apparently not.
"Oh, don't worry, Bella-Sue, dear," Mr. McSparkles chimed, "Dinner is almost ready."
"Goody!" I smiled, "But what will I do while I wait?"
Amy, Edward's little sister giggled happily. "Just lie on the table for a bit. We'll turn the lights on and it'll almost be like a tanning booth.
"Yay!" I cried as I climbed daintily up on the table, "This is going to be fun!"
"Don't worry, it will!" She replied cheerfully.
"Now, Bella-sue, just close your eyes for a bit," Mrs. McSparkles added amiably, "We're going to be performing acupuncture on you for a bit. It's supposed to relax you and prevent wrinkles."
"Okay!" I grinned happily and gently closed my eyes.
"Now, don't freak out if you feel a slight poking sensation in your neck, dear
