Witcher 3 topped major Japanese retailer Tsutaya's sales charts for last week, beating such heavy weights as FFX Remastered and Bravely Second. While not the most official statistics, it's promising seeing Witcher 3 sell so well. It's a great game and everyone should play it, regardless of country of origin

Yeah, the state of the Japanese game market is sad. Good to see they are supporting foreign developers, though, even if it isn't blockbuster sales.

Can't we all just acknowledge Witcher 3 did well without nitpicking? lolFFX is like GTA over in the West: even though it has been re-released multiple times, it still pulls great sales figures.

Interestingly it sold over double those figures. 67,000+ copies is not all that bad for a non-Japanese game. Especially given that the PS4 isn't exactly doing glorious sales over there.
