I don't see why not. Though Riku being the other main playable character already proves that we're not just using the KK.

Well I hope that you can use more than just way to dawn and KK. And that would be stupid if you only got to use one keyblade. I say keyblade because way to dawn is a type of Keyblade.

you could probably, like other games, you could equip other keyblades for Sora

we werent able to in recom maybe it'll be like tht except for the cards,ya know only one weapon

Soul Eater is the intermediary of Way to Dawn, and even then, from what we've seen, it's kinda like a Keyblade itself. But anyways, yeah, I know what you're getting at.

 

I'd expect a mix of both old and new Keyblades, since there are new worlds and all.

I will get super pissed off if Nomura doesn't add more new keyblades, there might be new weapons for Riku

It depends on where you would go. Oathkeeper and Oblivion would probably be back...

what?you call yourself a KH fan?everybody knows Riku wields the 'Way to Dawn' keyblade.

i know he does weild way to dawn i was just saying that he doesnt in kh 3D because there in kh1 clothes and riku didnt have way to dawn till kh that and i wasnt refering to he weilded a sword the whole time

New worlds= New keyblades

I believe I read that this game is supposed to have new worlds, so there you go. Plus, every game has new keyblades, I don't think Nomura would stop that tradition.

Considering the fact that Chain of Memories used cards for gameplay, I'm not surprised that they didn't have new keyblades.

I'm not surprised that they didn't have new keyblades because that it was just based off of a card system and also Kingdom Hearts CoM had all the same worlds as Kingdom Hearts except Twilight Town and Castle Oblivion.
