So last night me and three friends decided to go see Jurrassic World. I didn't know what to expect so let me break down the entire movie.

 

Pros:

Story/Music/Characters/World in general: I have to say that the Story of the movie flowed out smoothly and not once did I get lost in the story. The characters and Indomnious Rex all felt that they belonged in the world. So everything was smooth. Normally I hate Chris Pratt but overall he played a more serious role which I wish he would do more since it made him more enjoyable. Right from the beginning I felt Nostalgia from the first movie with the music and the overall setting. The one thing I loved about the movie was that it took place on the same island from the first film. I think the coolest thing about the movie was that we had Raptors on our side to help hunt down the Indomnious Rex. The final battle at the end with the T-Rex and Raptor vs the Indomnious Rex was pure epicness especially how they where teaming up together.

 

About the Indomnious Rex I really enjoyed that it could hide its body temperature and change its skin color to camouflage into its surroundings. Overall it's design felt original, and welcomed.

Cons

Not very much upset me about the movie just small things like Claire with High heels and not once did they break while she was running. The only other thing that upset me was I wish we got to explore the island a bit more especially with the amusement park.

 

But like I said the movie was amazing!

If a real woman can out-run a Tyrannosaurs Rex in heels, she deserves to be Queen of the World. Just sayin'.

 

And like you, I personally enjoyed the Indominous Rex. In fact, I thought that ALL of the species were stunning, my personal favorite being the Liopleurodon. It's such a fantastic and massive creature, but when discussing dinosaurs it often gets excluded, simply because it is a water-dwelling beast. So glad it got some lime-light. X3

 

I also love all of the references to the other films. The banner that fell when the Tyrannosaurus defeated the Velociraptors  in the first film, Dr. Malcom's book on one of the desks, Dr. Ian's method of using a flare to lead the Tyrannosaurs, a hologram of the frill lizard that killed Dennis, a statue of Dr. Hammond in the lobby of the museum, and even the return of Dr. Henry Wu, who was a scientist for the first film, as well as this one. There's plenty more references, but just a few I could catch.

 

Either way, a great story, great film, would definitely watch again.

I missed a lot of references then, going to have to see it again! I also liked how it left it open for another Jurassic Park movie with Dr. Henry Wu leaving the island with the Dinosaur DNA.

I know right?? o__o And they took so many...Now with them gone, and the Island literally wrecked, there's room for ANYTHING to happen! Not to mention the Pterodactyl's were only tranquilized. ._.

I actually regret paying to see this movie.  It's still better than Jurassic Park 3 though, so there's that...

I haven't seen this movie yet, but several friends who have watched it told me that it's great movie, well, I think after I have done my exam I'll watch it! Thanks for the great review!
