If the screams are out of terror since they'll probably sell out within 30 minutes, I'm with you there...

Honestly, I was slightly thinking about those sore scalping losers. I kinda consider buying them in stores; if they have any there...

While scalpers do contribute to the problem, they're not the only cause of stock issues. Nintendo simply isn't making enough to cover demands. I had to go to Target 2 hours before they opened just to get Jigglypuff, and they only had around 20 Jigglypuffs for the entire store. It was likely sold out before the line had even gotten all the way through (I was 6th in line, so I didn't have an issue getting one). Most stores have a 2 per person policy too, so that stock essentially halves at that point since most people will take two to trade the second (I was nice enough to only take one so one more person could walk out with a Jigglypuff, but that's just one extra amiibo). Not to mention the horrible stock on Robin and Lucina, which only had four figures for each at the store I went to. Scalping is being fought in stores now, although Nintendo still needs to step it up when it comes to making enough of these things to meet demand. While I can't speak for all locations, I haven't seen any of the Smash Wave 4 amiibo since the week of their release. I love Nintendo, and they're my favorite game company, although I really wish they'd make enough amiibo for everyone who wants them.

Of course, I do know the issues with production cost and the fact that the most detailed figures are typically the most rare, although seeing how many Unicorns are common or uncommon in Australia and Japan is kind of upsetting to Americans and Europeans.
