I don't either, I just wonder if other people played it. Maybe we can do quests together.

Runescape was fun until 2008. That's when Jagex took out the wilderness, stopped free trading, and ruined whatever player killing was left. They also ruined about 6 other cool things.

 

The grand exchange is one of them. Yes it sounded like a good idea however it completely screwed up the economy of runescape. And because of the 10 year old's who don't understand supply and demand making money is too hard now. I remember when you could easily make millions of willow logs. Not anymore. Even Yew logs take a while.

 

If you were able to fish swordfish then you were guaranteed to make at least 10 million a week. Well thats gone too .

 

You'd think that because its harder to make money the prices for high level items would be cheaper. However this is not the case. Once again you have supply and demand. Because high level items are expensive and harder to find because of that, people aren't putting them on the market as much. Therefore the price remains high.

 

But whatever my User name was Fredfredbug4 (thats were I first started using that name). I don't play anymore but I got some what high. I was only a few levels away from being able to use dragon equipment and I had a level 52 in construction (building houses was one of the only things Jagex didn't mange to ruin).

Well, now they added PKing worlds. You can literally fight people in the Lumbridge, but this is a good and bad thing.

 

The Grand Exchange, I make a gold mine off of it anyways because of the n00bs. I'm only level 10, but I craft items that a lot of people can use, and I craft a lot of them. Making money has gotten harder, but its the time consumption that's making it hard. People don't want to do long jobs to make money.

I used to play when I was a member, not so much anymore. Danjot2 is my username there. I guess later I'll get on.

I remember when PKing worlds came out. There was a lot of hype over that. The problem is that things were implemented poorly. The level gaps increased too quickly and making it to the next town was very difficult especially because of clans blocking roads and ambushing those they can attack.

 

teleporting does help a bit but since your teleported to the most populated area in the town, teleporting is basically asking to get killed.

 

I don't mind spending a few hours to get money. The problem is in old Runescape an hour of work would get me about 500K where as in the new runescape an hour of work would get me only about 100k. This may seem like a lot to you at lower levels but as you level up, you need more money. At my level 1 million isn't considered a lot. Its like pocket change lol.

 

Im not trying to discourage you from playing. If you like it, by all means play it. But for an older member such as myself, runescape has been ruined for us.

LOL i played when in first came out..... I was around like level 20 and at like level 19 at least at all my non member stats. I dont even remember my username.

You're not discouraging me at all dude lol, you are just stating your opinion, which I respect very much. I also agree with you on some things, I used to play Runescape back in the day 8). I stopped playing for like a year, and when I came back, everything changed o.o

my name was solantap (What a coincidence!!!) but i stopped playing when they added hi details,and the last time i went on,i hit like a 70...o.o (i was like level 20 lol) i dont play runescape anymore.

I had a account (I dont remember what it was) but I was like lv 4 when I quit lol, it was too boring
