A new trailer for the upcoming DragonBall anime has been released.

 

Various new scenes are shown, including that of the two new characters added to Super: Shanpa, the obese Beerus-looking creature and what can be assumed is his attendant who resembles a female Whis.

 

Again, no new information has revealed who these characters are or what their role in Super is sans interacting with Beerus and Whis.

I can't wait for Super. Haven't seen Kai (2014) yet mind you, but that's only because the sub is literally unbearable. I'll probably end up having to watch the original DBZ minus the fillers in between, if I recall, there isn't many.

I'm pretty sure you can find some good subtitles out there. I mean, I haven't sat down ans watched the Buu Saga either, but there's gotta be somebody out there who's translating it well. lol

No, no, I'm not talking about the sub being bad, no, that's actually bearable xDI'm talking about the voice acting. Goku in particular. Goku's JVA is just... Horrible. 

And I've grown up listening to the dubbed version of DBZ so I'm not used to and acquainted with the subbed version, so I just find it unbearable to watch.

I really don't wanna have to give you the talk I have to to give to dummies who don't give the original dub a chance, especially over the English dub for Z, because that's the terrible one right there. Original beats it by a mile. So I'll suggest you just read the Buu Arc in the manga instead.

I think it's fair to assume Shanpa and friend are either the initial new antagonists or somehow related to the antagonists for Super, given the few details referring to gods of destruction in BoG (and maybe the new movie, though I wouldn't know that yet). At least, I'm really hoping so, because I love the way it opens new possibilities in the series and I'm absolutely all for more Beerus and Whis whenever possible.
