Maybe it's because due to the Ryu DLC in Smash Bros and how awesome it was,but it also reminded me of my childhood memories of the series when I used to play Street Fighter 2 or some of the crossovers like Marvel Vs Street Fighter and Marvel Vs Capcom

 

So I decided to boot up my copies of SF2 Turbo HD remix and Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition(yes I need to upgrade to Ultra I know) and I was having a ton of fun.Sure I'm nothing compared to pro competitive tournament players but I had a blast going back to the series and playing with my mains like Cammy,Ken,Ryu,Sakura(yes 3 shoto mains I know) and the SF4-only character Juri

While Capcom's recent practices since 2012 has tarnished the reputation of the series I still love Street Fighter and can't see myself hating it even with stinkers like the EX 3D games or SFXT.

And I'm soooo hyped for SF5 and I'm gonna get that day 1 hopefully(since my brother said he might give his Ps4 to me)even if I know eventually Super Street Fighter 5 would be a thing.

Finally,it won't be a street fighter thread without me screaming:HADOOOOKEEEN

Which btw,all composed by Yoko Shimomora,that's right.The composer for Kingdom Hearts composed Ryu and Guile's iconic themes and many others in SF2,sure she hasn't composed every entry but her work on SF2 and some other SF games is amazing

Whoa, Shimomora helped with those? That is starting to make sense because they sound so awesome, specifically the ones she made.

I still have Super Street Fighter IV and I didn't downloaded UltraSFIV yet.I'm fine with Super,all the characters I love are here and I'm not a competitive player,so I don't need the small changes they made to each characters. Juri,Ken and Cammy are also my mains alongside Bison,Sagat,Akuma and I'm trying to get good with Vega,Guile and Dudley,but they are a bit hard to use.

Yeah,SF2 is one of her earliest works before she composed for Square's games
