The Legend of Zelda: Legacy of Triforce (RP with Riki and Sabre Lily)

Posted

"Lana... the prophecy has failed to come true. The hero in green is not here, and the Dark Prince will be resurrected... Please, find the three heroes who can stop him. Only through the unity of Power, Courage, and Wisdom can we prevail... I leave the kingdom in your hands, Lana... I trust you to stop this approaching threat."

After witnessing her sister, Princess Zelda, fade away into a pitch-black fog, Lana awoke from her dream, screaming as she did so. She'd had the same nightmare for the past three months, and dreaded what it could mean. However, just as legends had told of such prophecies coming to past princesses in dreams, Lana trusted the final words of her now-missing older sister. Regardless, she was anxious of the events that would occur today.

As she was beginning to climb out of her bed, her door suddenly burst open, and a large woman wearing a plain blue and white dress entered the room, panting for breath. "Princess Lana, are you okay? I heard a scream..."

"I'm fine, Impa." Lana nodded. "I had the dream again... That's all."

"I see." Impa quickly managed to catch her breath once again, then stood up straight. "Well, soon there will be nothing more to worry yourself about! Today is the day that we get to meet the heroes that the previous princess told you of!" She spoke cheerfully, knowing how worried Lana was. The poor girl was already distraught after being forced to the throne at the young age of 14, but over the past four years, she'd only grown more worrisome and stressed.

"Yes... you're right. I should not be so concerned." Lana responded as she stood. She made her way over to her mirror, and took a short look at herself. Her tired eyes were the first thing she noticed. She'd barely managed to get any sleep the previous night. Her long, black hair also fell in front of her face. In general, she looked like a complete mess. "Now... excuse me, Impa. I need to get ready."

"Ah, yes, I understand!" Impa nodded. "I'll have the three wait outside the throne room while we wait." She ran off, rushing to make the necessary preparations.

Lana sighed, but a slight smile spread across her face. Impa had supported Lana ever since her ascent to the throne... She deserved a rest after this ordeal was finished. She began to prepare herself for the meeting she would soon have...

Meanwhile, Impa had just brought Sara, Irisviel, and Rou to a small lounge room within the castle. "The princess will be ready to meet with you soon. I thought it would be a good idea to let you meet each other before we get on to the serious talk." She smiled at the three. "I'll be back soon, okay? Stay in this room, please!" She left the room, and headed in the direction of the throne room to wait for Lana to arrive...

Sara was amazed by the inside of the castle. Having spent her whole life in a small cottage with only her older brother, a home of this size felt surreal to her. Why did the princess need such a large place to live? Who did she share the castle with? Many questions ran through the woman's head as she waited for Impa to return. However, she quickly snapped back to her current situation while thinking about what Impa had told the three about meeting each other. Ah, yes... I should make a good impression for these two. She smiled at her new comrades. "Hello, my name is Sara. Who are you two?" she asked politely.

"Alright." Sara nodded, and left the throne room. She began walking through the halls o the castle, but took her time doing so. She was still amazed by how large it was. They passed by a kitchen, and she noticed that they were heading to a garden. "Have you found anything you'd be interested in doing yet?" Sara asked.

Irisviel shook her head. "No."

She wasn't the most excitable person, honestly...or, well, so it seemed.

"Very well." Impa quickly turned to the gardener, and mouthed the words, "I'll help you soon." After doing this, she led Rou out of the garden, and through the halls of the castle. Eventually, they reached a room with various weapons and pieces of armor, including those owned by Rou. "Here it is, sir. I can also direct you to an area with beasts you can battle, if you need." She offered. "Very well." Lana smiled. "Feel free to do as you please while you wait. It might not be the most exciting thing in the world to sit around, but there are still quite a few things you can do in this castle." She explained. "We also have guest rooms prepared for you all, if this takes longer than we expected." Sara nodded. "Thank you, your highness." She bowed as well, then turned to Irisviel. "Would you mind if I accompanied you? I do not really know what to do right now..." She admitted.

Rou didnt bother replying, his thanks was very much implied. He reequipped his armor, placed his shield on him and his sword in it's scabbard. "No, that will be unnecessary. I may not be able to navigate this castle, however most of my livelyhood is being able to track down and kill monsters, animals, the like. If I don't use my skills, I will lose them. Thank you for the offer, however." Rou stated plainly, walking back to the outer area, he scaled the castle wall in a few minutes with ease, and then slid down the wall on the other. Before any of the guards could understand what had happened, Rou was already too far for the best archers they had armed at the moment to hit. As he walked, Rou seemed to be following an almost seemingly invisible path. His turns and movements were very, well, peculiar looking, it almost seemed like he were a wild boar in fast motion...

Irisviel shook her head. "No."

"Hm... okay." Sara spoke calmly. She was hoping that they'd come across something soon. Until then, she thought it might help to start a conversation. She knew that talking could help her to understand her comrades more. She was still curious about what had happened earlier, anyway. "What did Rou mean when he mentioned you crushing me? From what I understand, that is a more violent act, and you did nothing to harm me." Sara asked, her innocent and sheltered nature becoming even more obvious.

"You're... welcome?" Impa began to speak, but was interrupted when Rou suddenly climbed up the castle wall to leave. ... This one's a freak. She thought to herself as she made her way back to the throne room.

Irisviel looked at Sara.

"I have an emotional attraction to you." She said bluntly. "Or sexual. I am unsure of which at the current time."

(If this were animated, in this exact moment I would have hidden the face of Tingle on one of the Hyruleyan castle's walls. Because lol's)

With his freedom back, Rou walked about the plains. First things first, something to eat. Boars, perfect. Quick work of them and a easy meal is made as well as some coin on the tusks. A few flicks of his wrist and two of the boars surrounding him were cleaved in half.. He managed to carry the slaughtered boars to a near-by forest, where he started a fire and began cooking them. "Expecting me to work with such armatures... Honestly. A daft wise woman and someone who mistakes the ability to say the truth of the world as she see's it as courage." He mumbled, slicing a part of the hog he was currently roasting off of it's body and scarfed it down, only to moments later fall unconscious...

"An emotional attraction...?" Sara thought for a moment. "So you mean... love?" Her experiences with love didn't go past what she felt for her parents and brother, meaning she didn't exactly know what Irisviel was talking about. "I still do not see what that has to do with crushing people..."

(Tingle is the very face of awkward moments.)

(Exactly. Also, is Impa going to do the thing or no?)

Iri blinks. "For the record, "crushing" in this form means 'has feelings for.' So, if I have a crush on you, it means I'm developing an attraction to you." She rubbed her head. "...you're so naive..."

(Yeah, yeah)

After a while, Impa felt like she shouldn't leave Rou on his own... "Princess Lana, I'm going to go find Rou. He can't be too far away... I'm sure I'll manage to find him easily, considering how loud he is."

"Very well." Lana nodded. "Good luck, Impa."

"Thank you, your highness." Impa bowed, and went off to find Rou...

"Oh." Sara's face turned slightly red, as she was embarrassed by her misunderstanding. "I understand, now... I have never heard the word used in such a way, though..."

Irisviel shrugged. "Now you have." She yanwd and stretched. "I want to take a nap..."

"I remember that Princess Lana told us about rooms we could stay in upstairs. Perhaps we could go look there?" Sara asked Irisviel.

(I'll probably have Impa pick up Rou after Sara and Irisviel get to their rooms or something like that)

Iris nods. "She did...I guess we can go there." She smooths her dress out. "Lead the way."

  • Author

"Very well." Sara responded, and tried to figure out where exactly the guest rooms were. However, she ended up leading Irisviel all over the castle, managing to get lost in the winding paths and corridors they came across. "Hm... maybe we should ask someone else to help us find the rooms?" She asked, her face red once again.

Irisviel nods. "Maybe we should have done that at first. No matter. Let's find someone who can help."

"Okay. Hopefully we find someone who knows the way..." Sara led the two off.

After Impa left, Lana decided to talk a walk around the castle. Quickly, she managed to run into the two other young women who happened to be lost. "Oh, hello. What are you two doing here?"

Irisviel looks at the Princess, then curtsies. "We are lost your highness. I believe we are very far off course to our sleeping chambers."

  • Author

"Hm... I see." Lana spoke, realizing that she never gave them very good instructions. "I can lead you there, then." She offered.

"We would appreciate that, your highness." Sara smiled. The three then eventually made their way to the rooms prepared for each of the heroes.

"Here they are. They should be all ready for you by now." Lana told the other two. "Anything else before I leave?"

Irisviel was silent...but then decided to speak.

"I sleepwalk sometimes. Please tell the guards so I'm not skewered if such a thing occurs."

  • Author

"Very well, I can do that." Lana nodded, certain to inform a guard the next chance she got. "If that is all, I will see you later." She left the two now that they were at their destination.

Irisviel turned to Sara. "Do you wish to choose your room first?" She inquired politely.

  • Author

"You can go first. I would be fine with any of the rooms." Sara smiled at Irisviel, allowing her to go first. She wasn't very picky about where she stayed.

Irisviel picked the door on the right, then went inside.

Sara decided to go with the room next to Irisviel. She went inside, and was impressed by how nice it was. The room alone looked a lot nicer than her own home. Is this what the princess' room is like, too? She thought to herself, and eventually decided to lie down in the bed.

Irisviel explored her room first, then collapsed on the bed after removing her shoes. She passed out thankfully.
