On my last playthrough of KH Final Mix on Proud, I didn't like my choices in Dive to the Heart. If I want to level up to 100, defeat all bosses, and unlock the Ultima Weapon, what should I choose, and what should I give up? Also, what should I pick for the questions that Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie ask? Any help is appreciated.

I went with shield because its a mix of strength and defense which is personally the best imo. You don't get much magic but you still get enough magic to play off of by giving up the staff.

The Sword gives you strength. I recommend picking the Sword for some extra power. Also give up the staff for decent magic. (As said above.)

Picking staff and dropping sword is good because it gives you max MP without losing defence because increased damage from enemies.

 

Choose the last option for each question so you level up faster towards the endgame when things get tough.

Picking the shield. Because I find it really cool that you can use it for defense and also offense.

Sword is the worst, shield is second tier, staff is the best, since it gives an MP boost, which you can't get through Attack Boosts and the like

I also love a challenge, and I think I'm doing pretty good. I left Destiny Islands at level 10, and I just finished Wonderland. I haven't died yet either.

I think it'll just get tougher as it goes on, considering the setup you chose essentially makes you a glass cannon, but it makes leveling up later more difficult. Hopeflly it works out for you though, it just seems like it would involve more grinding at the end of the day.

I'm just gonna say this: If you choose magic as the one you improve, you will get Ars Arcanum much faster. It is a really powerful Magic-based finisher. It makes this burst in the air and blasts the heartless with magic. I'd reccomend this choice only if you want to spice up the gameplay a little.

 

Also, I'm not sure, but do you get more MP in the end when you pick Staff as your priority?

I thought that was Ragnarok? Also, I think you do get more MP when you pick staff.
