Ok so we've all know Namine as the girl who isn't part of any central KH friendship trio like SRK, RAX, and TAV. So just say after in KH3 everyone has their predictable happy ending and all return to their predictable happy lives, Namine while would still be friends with certain members of those trios wouldn't have her own strong group of friends or "important people" like how the Trios see each other. Now who would be a good sort of person for her to bond with post KH3 going towards the next saga and beyond?

 

Vanitas.

 

Hear me out. While it's pretty obvious he'll be playing on Xehanort's team as one of the 13 darknesses if not THE 13th which would mean he'd have a strong importance to the plot and the Organization similar to Roxas who was the 13th member of the original Organization 13. So say after Xehanort gets his ass kicked in the end, I'm sure Vanitas would be a bit more cautious this time around compared to his last bout in BBS against Ventus, Aqua and Mickey and being more cautious would mean him somehow escaping at the last moment until the time's right to strike back because I don't see them killing him off again after being gone for so long plus he seems to be a fan favorite. Plus if the novels which are used seen as second tier canon are out into play here, then his back story could also serve as a reason for his survival to the next saga.

 

So my point is I'm sure when these two both meet they'll definitely be hostile or more of Vanitas due to his nature but similarities in loneliness and a need to feel complete in existence could have the two form their own strong bond atleast in any future games after KH3 when the next saga hits. Without Xehanort around anymore, Vanitas could potentially expand as a character starting off hostile and typical Vanitas but finding other ways to feel complete and purpose in his existence through strong ties to people like Namine instead of the X-Blade like he was lead to believe in the novels. And for Namine, she'd probably be able to form her own personal close bond with someone else to compensate her not having strong personal ties like the Trios have among the other. Plus enough implications in BBS and the novels show Vanitas being secretly jealous of Ventus having his bonds to his friends or having friends in general. Granted this would make Namine and Vanitas more of a duo than a trio unless they find another person.

 

Just a little idea for future KH interactions and friendships. I don't do pairings

That's exactly the same idea what came into my mind.

 

Vanitas can't be defeated because he is part of Ven's heart.

Namine will surely come back and have a certain role in KH3. My theory: She will be the 13th darkness. Xehanort will use her and influence her negatively for his plans. "You are alone, you never had friends, embrace the darkness bla bla.." something like that... She will work with Vanitas together. In the end both will be saved by Sora and Kairi. Imagine the battle Sora & Kairi vs Vanitas & Dark Namine. That is a fight I would like to see.

 

In the end they won't join the keyblade group but they will go together to discover who they really are and where their right place is.. ;_;

^ I like that theory. It would be pretty interesting. I mean Vanitas has enough reasons alone to not be buddy buddy with the main Trios well with the BBS Trio. And we know he and Sora will clash eventually so it would put him at odds with the Destiny Trio and he'd probably only get any real beef out of the Sea Salt Trio purely because Roxas looks like Ven.

 

And poor Namine was left out in the "My Friend's are my power" speech T_T Granted so was Lea but he wasn't established as a full friend of Sora's until the ending imo since their past probably still lingered in Sora's head.

 

So yeah really Vanitas and Namine really do have one big thing in common and that's loneliness. Granted with Vanitas fighting on the Norts team and Namine probably being saved near the end of KH3 or before that would hamper the two connecting but afterwards, anything is possible.

But we still need a third. What about, Naminé, Vanias and Riku Repilca? I mean if Vanitas, Roxas, Xion and Naming can come back, why not Repliku?

Probably because she doesn't have a weapon(yet). At least Donald and Goofy have a Staff and Shield respectively. Since it was supposed to be like they where fighting alongside him, she'd look out of place with just her bare hands.

You have a point about Namine not having a weapon which is something I thought about more and more but still :/And as much as I'd be fine with Repliku coming back, I don't see it happening since we really haven't gotten any hints at his return or anything unlike Vanitas. That's why I didn't include him but if he did came back, he'd be the perfect person to join the duo of Vanitas and Namine especially since Namine would have a more positive connection to him than Vanitas atleast at first.
