The future is not what it seems. The United States has been separated into "districts". There are 13 districts, each of them stricken with extreme poverty. Living off of the land is strictly prohibited, so many starve. In order to allow some people to live, the Capitol (the government) has created "The Hunger Games". The winner of these games will receive extravagant amounts of money, a new house, and plenty of food. Two "Tributes" from each district are chosen to participate in these games. The games may seem like they are fun, but they are anything but. Winning the game will make some go through extreme pain and tons of mental stress. Why is this? To win the Hunger Games, you must kill every other tribute in a specialized arena the government has created, including the Tribute from your district. The arena face can vary from a jungle to a desert. The age range for the Tributes vary from 12-18, any gender. Many people find these games cruel, but some families are so desperate, they support them. The Capitol enjoys these games for entertainment, but they believe that the Hunger Games are for a greater good.[/align]

1. Nobody in this RP has super powers, you are normal human beings.
2. You cannot god-mod in this RP.
3. We will not start off in the arena.
4. Your posts must be descriptive and without extreme grammatical errors. Posts with one full paragraph, at least 5 sentences.
5. Every District has one male and one female Tribute. If there is already somebody of your gender in a District, please choose another one.
6. Do not kill other RPers without permission
7. Keep cussing to a PG-13 level.

Name: Jacob Lefevre
Age: 16

Appearance (you get new clothes in the Arena): Jacob has slightly tanned skin, dark brown hair that hangs over his head, a mustache, and a few beard hairs. He wears a white T-Shirt, torn black Docker shorts, and a pair of old Reeboks. Mostly, his facial features are hidden by his hair, but when he pulls his hair back, you can see his depressed look.

H.G. weapon: He has an assortment of throwing daggers, which have been dipped in one of the most deadliest toxins in the world. He also has a blowdart gun, two battle daggers, and a limited supply of mines.

Short bio: Jacob and his family moved from Canada to the U.S. 10 years before the creation of the Hunger Games. They had lived a pretty good life in California before it got turned into District 8. After this, their lives made a turn for the worst. They lost most of their money, and they couldn't afford a lot of food. 3 years ago, when Jacob's brother Jackson was picked as a Tribute, they had mixed emotions of happiness and depression. They prayed everyday while he was in the arena, but unfortunately, he was killed when there were only 3 people left. This left Jacob in a state of depression and anger. He dropped out of the Capitol created school system, and began to just walk around his district, with nothing to do.[/b]

H.G. Weapon: She uses a jeweled staff to fight (It's JUST a staff. There's no magic in it or anything)

 

Short Bio: District 1 is beautiful and posh on the outside, former New York, but on the inside, it's a very different story. People are dropping from starvation everyday. Her parents, like everyone else, pretend to be faithful to the government, but secretly tell her how it needs to be stopped. They do all of the work, and get nothing. She has a younger brother, and sneaks out into the woods when she dares to hunt for his sake. Her parents are terrified of her name being drawn for her first year of the Hunger Games, even more since she'd gotten rations for both her and her brother, which had given her extra slips in the ball. But she WANTED her name to be drawn. She wanted to stop the Hunger Games, but the only way she knew how was to get to the Capitol. And the only way there... COOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Appearence:Baggy,maroon red pants.White T-shirt with gray sleeves as well(like a T-shirt over a sweatshirt kinda thing).He wears checkered sandals and has a silver cross necklace.He also has a black belt and occasionally wears a Yankees hat.His hair style is naturally blonde and has small yellow hairs on his chin,indicating a Goate is growing.

 

H.G:Brian has a knife belt with custom-forged knives with carved wooden handles.The belt has 8 knives,but he also has a Titanium bat that he occasionally brings out if he thinks he might have trouble those days

 

Bio:Brian originally lived in London,but after his house burnt down,his parents and him moved to America - New York,specifically - and took all their savings.There,his mother got work as an accountant,while his dad worked his way up to be the manager of the Shipping Department of his company,which made computers,phones,and other technological inventions.Brian lived and became a popular kid at his school,but after the first two weeks there,it went all down.Brian lost his best friend in a car accident,his dad's pay was deducted,and his mom was fired.With his family in a crisis,Brian decided to walk around,seeking something that might help his family.

Appearance: Blue jeans, spiky blondish hair, a brown belt, black eyes, a blue t-shirt, wears black sandels. Sometimes wears a black hat.

H.G. Weapon: A sword that is held behind his back in a case.

Bio: Anthony lived in the streets of Phoenix after he lost his parents in a car accident. Anthony had no other relatives because they were all dead. Anthony learned at a school at Phoenix, but wasn't very popular there because he always got into fights and refused to do anything else. He got kicked out of the school when he was in 9th grade and ever since, he's been begging for food from people and spare change. One day, when he was 15, instead of getting spare change, he got a sword from someone which he now uses in combat. Now, he is willing to do whatever he can to get a new life at any costs including entering the Hunger Games.

^ Accepted, but you need to change some stuff. Your bio needs a little more added to it, and you might want to pick a different state, because New York is already taken by two people. You must remember that the districts spread across the U.S., you can pick plenty of places.

Appearance: CeeCee is relatively short (only about 5 feet tall), and has long black hair, which makes her pale skin look even paler. She wears a purple sleeveless dress that goes down to her ankles. Her sandals are dirty and look like they're falling apart.

 

H.G. weapon: A long garden hoe. The handle of the hoe is wood, while the actual blade part of the hoe is made of rusty silver metal.

 

Short bio: CeeCee was found abandoned at the side of the road by an old woman and her daughter. They raised CeeCee and showed her, to the best of their ability, how to fight. Still, wasn't very at fighting and would always rather stay home and draw. She is kind, but always thinks about her self before others, making her a very unreliable ally.

When she was chosen for the Hunger Games, she felt angry and scared, but was urged on by her adopted mother and grandmother. Even though they were just as excited as CeeCee about the Hunger Games, they needed the money and food.
