Just making sure i have things right..our current (light side) keyblade wielders are:

Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, and Axel...Obviously the plan is to get Aqua, Ventus, and Terra back, although I'm sure there will be difficulty with terra. But did they mention trying to get Xion and Roxas as well? I can't quite remember if that was part of the plan or if i wanted it so bad that i somehow created that mentally..Plus, Axel is now part of the home team, and im sure his goal (like everybody else's) is to get his friends back..anyway, the reason for this post is:

 

A- because if I'm right about that last thing, then how will they get Roxas back now that he's reconnected with Sora. It's not like they're going to turn Sora into a heartless again to make that happen.

 

B- Same with Xion..didn't she become one with Roxas as well? giving him the ability to wield two keyblades?

 

it's been a while since I've played Days, so i don't quite remember the mechanics behind that whole thing...

 

another question..if Roxas and Ven both come back..is anybody else curious as to how that introduction plays out?

 

and of course...if im just completely wrong about bringing Roxas and Xion back, then you guys can just completely disregard this post..simply type "you're an idiot" and we can just carry on living our lives as if this post never happened. 

The plan was to bring them back some way...but whether they'll be lights, who knows. Considering their just an extension of soda, maybe not.

Ansem the Wise in 3D DDD said something about Sora having the power to bring back those we thought were completely lost for good. He also said something along the lines of bringing back a puppet, which we can assume is Xion. I don't think we know what this power is quite yet.

Actually, I think Ventus was the one who gave Roxas the ability to wield two Keyblades. After Xion's death, something - I forget what (possibly... her death) - awakened Ven's heart within Roxas, allowing him to dual wield. That's what I've heard, anyway. I think it's about the same situation as to why he looks like Ven.

That's right! Thank you, this was helpful. I knew i heard it somewhere in that game just wasnt sure who said it or if i was confusing it with what was said about TAV..

they'll probably just point a keyblade at Sora and then a bright light will engulf everything and when it fades away Roxas and Xion will be there with their bodies and no one will question it. 

That's how the series likes to handle situations like this it seems. KH2 especially. Fade out to white. Plot convenience takes place. Fade in from white. 

And I'm also curious to see how Nomura handles the meeting of Ventus and Roxas. 

Watch him make it so the two of them are just conveniently never in the same area at the same time lol

Both Xion and Roxas became part of Sora again. However, as we learned in 3D, nobodies (which apparently includes puppets) can grow their own hearts over time. This means that Xion and Roxas have got hearts of their own, and could be able to exist again without messing up Sora's (or Ven's) heart.

They will most likely return with the help of this item known as 'The Key to Return Hearts' that Nomura mentioned. We don't really know much about it, yet. But we do know that it will help return those who we thought were lost, hence 'Return Hearts'.

 

And about 'B'. Xion didn't become one with Roxas. She is one with Sora, like Roxas. She didn't give Roxas the ability to dual-wield. It was because of Ventus' heart. Xion's death helped awaken that power.

Oh Riku! Don't forget Riku! He's one of them. I don't recall them saying getting Xion and Roxas back.

I can't wait to see who the True Guardians of Light are.

I mean we have:

Sora

Riku

Mickey

Ventus

Aqua

Terra (Or the Lingering Will until his body and heart are returned)

 

The seventh is always the trickiest..

 

Axel?

Roxas?

Kairi?

Xion?
