Hello, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ players! Here is KH13's first official written guide on how to navigate through Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. Please note that this guide does not explain how to download the game or how to get passed server errors. If you would like to know how to download the app, you can check the links below on how to download the app for your respective devices.
Android
iOS
Let's begin, shall we?
Starting the game
When you start the game, you will first see a pop-up like this:
This is the Terms of Service for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. Click the red button to accept and move forward. Once you pass the ToS screen, you will see a screen like this:
Once again, click the right orange button. Once you do so, a screen like this will appear:
The "1995" is your birth year, aka the year you were born in. The "1" is the month you were born on. Ex. 1991, 4. Once you go to the drag down menu for both, click the red button in the middle to confirm. Then click the other red button afterwards on the right after clicking the middle button. After proceeding, the tutorial opening will start with the download. Once the download finishes, you will receive 300 jewels. A screen like this will appear:
In the box you will type your username, and then confirm by clicking "OK". Next is choosing how your avatar will look and it's gender:
To change your gender, click the orange button on top of your avatar and it will change between female and male. Choose your gender accordingly. Each tab will have different options to change your look, feel free to change it however you like and click "OK" when you finish.
Lastly is choosing your union:
Click one of the 5 creature-like floor platforms to choose your union and confirm. Before choosing, the five unions are as follows:
There is no differences really between them, so essentially choose your favorite creature picture! (Haha). Then you will be taken to Daybreak Town after a cutscene and learn tutorials.
MENU
Next is the MENU portion of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. The MENU portion is on the top right corner where labeled so. Then a drag down menu like this will appear:
The first option is "HOME" which is where I am at right there. The next option is missions. You go to missions to do story missions for worlds and play through the story. Third option is equipment. This is where you go to upgrade your Keyblade and synthesize your medals or modify your current medals deck. (Which will be more explained later on). The fourth option is the avatar board. You go here to do avatar boards to get new stat boosts like AP and HP, as well as deck cost and also get new outfit pieces/outfits. This will be explained more later on. The fifth option is medal list. This contains all medals in your possession and you can sell medals to make room if needed as well as get munny to synthesize medals. The sixth option is the shop. You can go here to obtain medals and sell items. This will be explained later as well. Lastly is the "other" option. This is just extra options from a pop-up window.
Keyblade upgrading/Medals
As said in the MENU guide, you go to the third option in the MENU window to open up the equipment screen:
Your medals are on the left and the Keyblade is on the right. In order to upgrade your Keyblade, go to where the 2 red buttons are below the Keyblade and click the right red button. The screen should be like this:
On the Keyblade upgrade, if you have enough materials for the upgrade the big button under the materials list will be red. If you want to upgrade your Keyblade, click the button and it will upgrade. Enough upgrades will equal a new appearance and strength from the Keyblade. To synthesize a medal, go to one of the medals, click it from the right, and a screen like this will appear:
On the bottom of the medal with 2 red buttons, click the button on the left and then the synthesis screen will appear:
From the medals list on the right, drag one of the medals to the slots like this:
After you put in the medals you want to synthesize the medal, click the big red button on the bottom left corner and confirm. Then something like this should happen:
The medal got stronger by leveling/synthesizing. Yay! That is how you synthesize your medals and make them stronger. It's important to note that medals such as Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Moogles cannot be added to your deck and can only be sold or used to synthesize your current medals.
How to create/join a party
In order to create a party, you must first go to the MENU window and then scroll down to the last MENU option, or the "Other Settings" option. Your screen will look like this:
Then click the icon with the two buddies, or the 4th button reading left to right. Once you click it, a screen with 3 options will appear:
In order to create a team, click the first red box and a pop-up like this will appear:
The box is as follows:
Team name can be left alone, or changed if you want. It's up to you. Activity rate basically is asking if you are super active, somewhat active, or just active whenever you can. Acceptance method is important as by default, people can request to join your group and you can approve/deny them in. If you want people to be able to join without approval, you can choose the first option. If you want people to have to be approved/disapproved, leave it alone. If you want to have it set to invite-only, you can choose the third option. It's up to you. The team message is just a message people will see mostly when your team is in the public "Join a group" listing and people request to join. If you want your team to be free to join by people, you can put a message indicating you welcome them or you speak English, whatever the case may be. Once you finish, click OK and your team is created.
In order to invite someone to your group, when you appear at this screen:
Click the first red box on the right and then you will appear here:
Click the orange box that contains the word "ID" then get the ID of the person you wanna invite and click OK. Once you do so, a screen of their avatar will appear. Like this:
As you can see, they are on my team already. If the person you're inviting is in the same union, you can click a red box that appears at the bottom of their avatar and then you can send them a message about inviting them. Please note that you cannot invite someone who is not in your union or is currently in another team.
For your friend to accept the invite, they must go to "management" button on the screen we discussed at the beginning of this section of the guide, which is the third red option on that page. Once the click it, a page will appear. They must click the second tab of the 2 tabs that will appear before them on that page, and then on the invite click the first red button where the options "Accept/Deny" lay before them. After they do this and confirm, they are now apart of your team!
To join any public team, go to the "Join a team" option on the first screen where we discussed at the beginning of this section of the guide. Which is the second red button option on that screen. The 4 tabs on that screen are:
Those 4 tabs are for filter purposes, if you wanna filter certain searches. On that screen the top right red button is basically the refresh button for when you input any filters of the 4 tabs and get a result of the groups to join. Eg. If I want to join a group without having to be accepted, I'd go to the 'acceptance method' tab and click the third option in the acceptance method pop-up tab and click OK. Then click the refresh button and get my searches. Lastly, I would want an English group so I look for a group with an English PR message and click the red button next to their group and it should let me be apart of their team.
Important to note that your team can only have 30 players total, so its up to you to decide how to manage your team if you wish to create your own.
NOTE: This guide isn't complete, only completed with the basics. We will update this later on with more important information. Feel free to ask questions concerning the info in this guide or suggest any information we should add for the future.
