The day was bright and sunny in the nice little village of Tengoku as a young dog by the name of Dog Ninja was currently checking his coins for the day. He just finished slicing the rest of the veggies for the local farmer and finally he was all done. He happily sat down right on a log in a small field and counted up his earnings.

"Ten... Eleven..." He stopped at twelve. Lovely. Twelve. That'll only get him a small dog biscuit from the store.

"I can't buy any kunais yet..." He said with a small frown. Even if he was able to buy them, Dog wouldn't even need to use them. Sadly due to the peace in the village, there was no need for protectors no more.

The Scholar gave Dog Ninja a pleased smile. He gestured for Dog Ninja and his friend to take a seat, before he scurried back to his little kitchen to start the water boiling. He glanced out to give Dave an odd look, which was partially explained as a question of "how else should a tea shop smell?"

After a moment, he came back out bearing a tray with a cup of green tea and a few biscuits on the side, and laid it before Dog Ninja. He then looked at Dave, expecting an order.

Dog Ninja smiled softly and gladly left the coins on the table for The Scholar. He deserved every single coin. The tea and biscuits were just so delicious and refreshing every time. "Thanks Scholar. You make the best tea ever." Dog Ninja chimed as he began to munch on the biscuits and sip at his tea. "I recommend the green or black tea. It's the best." He said over to Dave.

Lalya shook her head."No not here, the floor above is where I stay." She smiled."I can show you if you want, the shop isn't busy." She added. She looked around for a key. "One second. I need my keys." She walked to the register and opened it and garbed me keys. She walked back to Mia. "We can go now if you want to." She hums to herself while waiting.

Mia jumped up in excitement using her springy tail and landed on her feet, making her tail go back to being straight and wavy. "Houba! I would love to! Then I can take you to see my home!" Mia said excited, still holding the flowers. She hopped on her feet passed Lalya and jumped on the counter next to the register, still having that happy, cute expression on her face that was staring at Mia's new human friend. "I've never really been in a human house before. I've only been in the orphanage and library, but that was back when I was a little Marsu." She told Lalya sitting down with her legs crossed. This was a rare chance for Mia, to see how a human lives from the inside. It was very exciting to her! She giggled at the thought. "Hee Hee! I'm all giggly now!" Mia said.

Dave then said, "Nah, I can eat whatever." he said, and sat down, and dropped a few coins. And started to look around, silently hoping that he didn't have ANY sort of healing things. Or at least he had some sort of rat poison, if he did serve him healing tea, it would hurt. And he would get off his glamour and that would mean trouble, for him.

The Scholar bowed his head in thanks to Dog Ninja's praises. He then put his head to the side as he stared at Dave, as if he was staring into Dave's soul.

"Not tea." He finally said, which was rare with him, as he generally preferred a gesture or a look to a word. "Pity. Coffee, then?"

Lalya nodded. "Sure I'll come to your tree it sounds fun." She ran to the stairs. "Come on then, lets go up then!" She started up the stairs. She was really happy. She had made a friend. She had not gotten out much before she moved here and even now she only left for work or food. So in total she only left once or twice a week. That is if at all.

"Coming up!" Mia hopped off the counter and followed Lalya up the stairs, hopping on each step, still having a smile. "Houba!" She couldn't help to say. Mia usually that word when she was surprised, happy, excited, scared, just about in every single way. Saying Houba was just a thing to her. Sure, it left some people confused, but still she liked to say it! "Does a human house look really nice?" She asked hopping on the stairs and holding the flowers from her tail.

Dave nodded, "Some coffee would be really nice." he said, and sat down, but he looked over to The Scholar and mumbled, "But how did you know that I didn't want tea?"

Dog Ninja was very content with himself; he had tea and biscuits. What more could he ever ask for? On top of that, they were made by The Scholar. The best tea maker in the village. Making tea was an art. And The Scholar mastered it.

"Scholar knows a whole bunch of stuff." Dog Ninja mused as be munched on his biscuit. "And he's great at knowing what his customers want! That's another reason why everyone in the village loves coming here so much; perfect customer service. He makes great coffee too."

The Scholar bowed slightly to Dave's request, then went back to his kitchen. A snort from there after Dog Ninja said the Scholar made good coffee indicated that coffee was not a hard thing to get right. After a few moments, he stepped out of the kitchen, but stayed near the door.

"Be a minute." He told Dave, somewhat apologetically.

Lalya thought for a moment before unlocking a door. "Yeah,I think so." She stated. "Although I love camping from time to time." She added lightly. She opened the door. "It's not much but it's mine." She showed her to a couch. "Sit and relax. I'll get a vase." She walked to another room. Her eyes scanned around looking for a vase. She found on.

"Houba!" Mia said before jumping on the couch. Her expression was very surprised! The couch felt so soft! Almost as soft as her nest! "Houba! It's so soft! And bouncy! Hee Hee!" She said. She couldn't help but jump on it! Mia was just having plain fun. "Houba! Houba! Houba! Hee Hee!"

Lalya grabbed the vase and went back to Mia."Having fun?" She asked. She sat next to her new friend. She sat the vase on the table in front of the couch. "Put your flowers in that." She told Mai. She lgot up. "Would you like, water, tea, anything to eat?" She was smiling lightly and she asked. She loved to have others over. It was a rare moment to have someone over for her.

"Houba! You bet I'm having fun!" Mia replied happily. She stopped bouncing on the couch, listened to Lalya, and had her tail put the flowers in the vase. Her eyes sparkled a bit as she looked at the flowers in the vase. "Houba! They look lovely!" She said.
