My Story was just meant to be a simple one, I was assigned by my Master to set out from my World within the Realm of Darkness to explore its otherworldly counterpart within the Realm of Light that would become my 1st ever World of exploration asides from both my home World and my training grounds World, however...things turned out a WHOLE lot more stranger then I thought they would be...

Hello everyone, welcome to the Kingdom Hearts Role Play called χ Chi-A KINGDOM HEARTS Role Play -The Story of Ephemera-, my name is Chirithy and I am to be your guide between the two counterpart Worlds of Daybreak Town in the Realm of Light and "Night Time Town" in the Realm of Darkness, to be honest, I am one of many Chirithys that exist but for now so you can tell the difference, please, just call me "Dreamy".

 

It is my mission to help and guide a certain group of heroes who will battle a certain evil leading the forces of Darkness in an attempt to cause the oblivion of all Worlds everywhere and in order to make sure that I do so, please, raise up your hands, inside your palms, you will gain the power of "Concalo", it is the means by which a certain person can wield a certain type of weapon to combat the Darkness with but in order to first obtain Concalo must a person gain a certain amount of Lux to achieve the method.

 

Right now, the Worlds are unstable at best because of a Dark matter contaminating them called "Umbra Pestis", Umbra Pestis is something that infects the Worlds, causing them to be transported to the Realm of Sleep as a means of protecting themselves, where there, Dark Dream Eaters plague them, neither Spirits nor Nightmares but a new species entirely and now, trying our very best to fend off these new Dark Dream Eaters, me and the other Chirithys are calling for help to aid both us and the Worlds in our times of need, please, take up the certain weapon I spoke of earlier and with it, cleave and open your destinies forward, this is a once in a lifetime request from your friend, Dreamy.

Fill in if you chose Keyblade for Weapon and/or Sub Weapon only.) Rules: All Characters must start off in Daybreak Town. No Swearing above age 15. No Romance above age 12.

Lara felt a little shocked upon hearing that, and looked down, thinking about something. She quickly regained her composure, and looked at Ephemera. She knew about the outcome of the War Of Beginnings. She clenched a fist, without no one noticing, and quickly stopping herself. "I see... So, were both Keyblade Wielders... Where are you from, Ephe?" Asked Lara, asking Ephemera a question.

"......I don't know, I was found and raised by my Master, he taught me both the ways of the Keyblade and the ways of life whilst I was growing up, other then telling me that I am an orphan, he won't tell me anything about my true past until I am 21 years old, so to keep things short, again, I don't know." said Ephemera, giving his honest answer towards Lara about the former's past life. 

Lara closed her eyes, and thought about all of this, and opened her eyes and looked at Ephemera. She felt curious about Ephemera's past, but she didn't want to push him, and felt bad for him. She unfolded her arms as she looked on at him. She was also wondering why he came to Daybreak Town. "I see.... I'm also an orphan... My family died during the War... But I've been taking care of myself, and because of my experience and the teachings, I gained my Keyblade... I'm trying to find out more about the Light. Why did you come to Daybreak Town, if that's too much to ask of you, Ephe?" Asked Lara, asking Ephemera a question.

"Its okay, I can't tell you who sent me but I have been told by my Master to seek out this Town's local Keyblade Master named Master Herubert, have you seen or heard of him Lara?" said Ephe, asking Lara a question.

Walking into the sight of seeing two people Hand in Hand, Not realizing one was just getting up. She pushes her glasses up and proceeds Pull a book out of her back pocket, somewhat of a small journal. She begins to write as she watches the two. With her mind in a state of Finite about the world around Her, she pursues with the intent to question. She Put the end of the Pen in her mouth as she discover on her own what this place looks like, her eyes pans Right to left. Deeming land marks in mind as well as on paper. She thrust her Pen into her back pocket, and closes the journal and lifts her head from her mental studies.

 

Was she upon The people she intrudes By asking

 

"Do we know where this exactly is? I Mean i thought i was Sleeping? Am i in a dream?"

 

She Put Her finger on her chin "Hmph.." She raises her hand into the air and thwart her hands to her bicep "Ouch" She pinches herself.

 

"Well, one answer Down." She lightly and softly giggles And smiles her eyes Even Smile gently. She then Begins to look down and around again at her surroundings. "Aslong as i'm still breathing, right?"

 

She Removes and fold her glasses. To reveal she has heterochromia, One Eye is Black But the other is Gold.

By Having a gentle a curious connectivity through eye contact. She insisting on staying Respectful and nice by Keeping attentive and listening

 

Lara looked at Ephemera, and nodded at him. She pointed to a Northern direction, as she looked at him. She was feeling okay with telling him about herself. She smiled as she pointed toward the right direction. "Yes, he's my Master, actually, I left there a while ago to look for things to do." Said Lara, talking to Ephemera.

"YOUR MASTER!?!? that actually makes a whole lot of things easier for me! if that's the truth then I can tell you who my Master is, he's a friend of Master Herubert's, his name is Master Onmyodou, have you heard of him?" said Ephe, not realising the sheer depth in revealing his Master's identity to Lara who may very well know about it.

Lara's eyes widened in shock, and regained her composure as she nodded. She folded her arms as she looked on at him. She knew of Onmyodou through her talks with her Master. "Yes, my Master talked to me about him a few times before. I can bring you to him." Said Lara, talking to Ephemera.

"AWESOME! ...huh? hey, whose that? off in the distance?" said Ephe, as he then caught a glimpse of the person that was watching both him and Lara before suddenly, Dark Dream Eaters had then appeared, 20 of them in 4 packs of 5 respectively and all of them resembling Egyptian Mummies, as Ephemera then took up Riku's Fighting Stance and said to Lara "Dream Eaters! Dark Ones!! these are the reason why I'm here Lara! these are Dark Dream Eaters!! the most basic of them all! Sleepers, as they're called!!" said Ephe, identifying the most common type of Dark Dream Eaters called "Sleepers".

Lara stared right the Mummy-like Dark Dream Eaters, and took a battle stance resembling Lucina's battle stance from Fire Emblem: Awakening, looking at her enemies with a stern look. She understood why Ephemera was here now, and she could tell that the Dark Dream Eaters could mean bad news. She looked around at all of the Mummies around, and gripped her Keyblade tightly. She could tell that she and Ephemera needed to be careful, even if they are basic Dark Dream Eaters. "Alright, let us deal with these things before they destroy anything!" Shouted Lara, talking to Ephemera.

Eliza Simply Turned Away at the sight of the dream eaters and left. She felt no need to actually fight the so she Fled. She did how ever Grip her Pistol In a Police officer and well train gun handler way. Cutting corners and streets NOT knowing where to go, she took where ever she could find shelter and did not question it's Fortitude. Seeming Out matched she Hide behind a corner to find a new tactic, Peering from the corner to see if she was followed and she wasn't. that brought joy but didn't drop her guard she was still ready.

 

"Well those guys can handle themselves. They won't need me. i mean those weapons they had, Awesome!! Okay stop fan Girling, That's not cool." She shook her head, while readied herself to walk. She began to step When clashing became more audible. 

 

"Well It's not like they Knew i Existed, They were Into themselves, Brr! I Doubt i was even Noticed." She Shook And walk off into an area she thought to be safer.

 

She started To have flash backs of her family and how lonely she was

 

'There's No home for go to. No one Loves you' She heard Ring in her head.

Then she heard her mothers Voice, "You're Special, Don't let anyone tell you other wise..."

Then she heard Nothing. Her face stuck in the expression of sorrow But then Slowly resumed back to normal And She started to pick up the pace. 

She picked up the speed into a run.

Tears hit the pavement, and splashed With a brilliancy. She had her eyes closed As she ran faster and faster. Til what was behind her was just a figment and no longer in sight. then she came to a halt. "Mother i wont give up i'll find whats special in me."

 

She proceeds to press on..

In an alley way, a bright disk approximately 1 meter in diameter appeared 1.5 meters above the ground. It hung in the air for a moment, then moved down to the ground at a quick speed, leaving in it's wake Skye Cidney. When the disk hit the ground, materializing Skye's feet, it winked out of existance. Skye did a quick check of herself to see if all of her had made it through the teleporting system she was devising. She was happy to see she was intact. A marked improvement from last test. From inside her robe, she produced a smile audio recorder and brought it to her lips.

"Report on impromptu test 26 of teleporter pad." She said in a clear voice to the recorder. "It appears I've eliminated both problems of extreme nausea and leaving bits behind with current configuration. Though, will need test subject to retest for nausea as I am accustomed to magical jolting."

With the report logged, Skye shut off the recorder and stuck it back in her robe. She then stepped out of the alley. As she was focused on how to precede with her teleportation experiments, she failed to realize she had stepped right into the path of Eliza.

Eliza ran, Without Clearlying thinking on her path and Bumped Shoulder With Skye, with a twirl she knelt down and aim the gun Directly for Skye's Head. Her knee was a little scrapped From That Maneuver, but she was focus. With a tilt of her head, she was noticing this wasn't one of those mummy things. She took her finger off the trigger And rolled her eyes with a sigh added for good measure. She then Plopped onto her back Staring straight up with her arms out and Legs spread eagle. 

 

"Heh, you're a normal person.. And you're not oblivious to my existance?" She sat up and said to The girl in the robe.

 

"Who Might you be? Oh wait, it's rude to ask a name with introducing yourself prier. I am Eliza Rosabeth of the HoundsLette Family and i Don't know where i am, Also Sorry For bumping into you." She looked down.

 

She looked around because she did not know where She was, Even further lost into this Fantasy world. 

Skye spun around when Eliza bumped shoulders with her. The phrase "are you alright?" died in Skye's mouth as soon as she looked down the barrel of the pistol pointed at her. A book appeared in her hand without any swirling lights or little "pop" sounds. But the pistol was lowered and Skye relaxed a tiny amount. The Academic watched the gun toting girl with interest as she lay on the ground. She maintained a neutral expression, except when Eliza called her a "normal person, at which instant Skye looked offended.

"Please to meet you, Eliza Rosabeth of the HoundsLette Family." Skye greeted. "My name is Skye Cidney, Mage and researcher. If you are experiencing some sort of perception filter around yourself, I might be able to help with that. I am, of course, able to see through such as I am an extremely good mage. Now, if you could hold still as I- oh, wait. There is something I would like to ask first. What was it? Oh, yes. Do you know this world and everyone in it is in imminent and terrible danger?"

Eliza saw the magical book that Skye Summoned, and was Thwarted by its beauty. She had a feeling of sheer Awesomeness. She composed herself, and stood up as she was hearing a lot of what sky was saying, But hardly understanding a lick of it. She Strung her head in confusion, as she tilted  her expression askew.

 

One thing was familiar, the last question. "Where this world is?" She quoted sky, with incertitude. She took from that, she was on a different planet. now she was alerted to her condition, not so much alarmed, Just Vaguely humbled. 

 

"Um, no.. Sorry! heh heh. i was trying to figure that out myself." She scratched the back of her head and Cringed with a soft and quick Smile.

She Then Spoke in and indistinct language, Indicating That was her native tongue. "Oop! i mean, Let's be friends?" She felt like she would need some help Around here and this skye person would be her only ticket to actually surviving. She Extended her arm in a gesture of greetings, as she reached out to shake her hand she smiled.  

 

'Is this all in my head or can i relax?

 

Did i make it mother?...

 

Did i find out what's special?..

Skye studied Eliza for a moment as she tried to figure the girl out. Her speaking in another language intrigued Skye. Where ever she came from, Skye was interested in helping her find it. But there was the whole threat to the balance and the world would need to be handled first.

"I..could certainly use a friend." she said, a little hesitantly.

She accepted Eliza's hand shake with her free hand.

"I would love to hear about your planet and the circumstances in which you arrived here, but first, have you seen anything...dangerous like monsters after you arrived here?"

"Ah.. Oh! you must have meant the Dummy Mummies? They had suddenly appeared as i was approaching..." She was at a lost for words, yet steadied  herself to think about the others she had left Behind. "There were these 'Sword wielders', that had in Arms These weapons. They summoned Them, To their Hands. Um, they were like huge.." She tapped her chin, in thought. "Swords with... Key teeth on them??" She said half wittedly and confused. "No, that couldn't be right?" She muttered to herself to find a better Description.

 

She studied the area she had came from, and gestured to prompt Skye into the right direction. Just in case she wanted to see for herself. She also Whisked her face to insure that it wasn't a good idea nor safe.  

 

 

Proceeding to fight the Sleepers, Ephemera instantly activates the Bladecharge Command Style and with it, mow down all the enemies in front of him whilst trying to avoid Lara in the process from being accidentally hurt by his Keyblade enveloped in Light, as 3 Sleepers were eliminated by Ephe's attack, 2 more Sleepers had then ganged up on Ephe, pinning him down to the ground with no way out, as he lastly said the words "Dang it! not looking-good!!" whilst the Bladecharge then deactivated upon him being captured by the Dark Dream Eaters.

Lara charged at the two Sleepers, and fired platinum-colored Fireballs of Light from her Keyblade at the Sleepers pinning Ephemera down. She wasn't going to let the enemies hurt her new friend no matter what. She was going to help him with this battle. She had to be careful , as there were many Sleepers around. "I've got you, Ephe!" Shouted Lara, talking to Ephemera.

"Ugh, thanks Lara! sorry for the poor display there, right then, let's team up and show these guys what for!!" said Ephemera, as he proceeded to jump behind Lara, back to back with her, as more Sleepers started popping up one after another and Ephe then reactivates his Bladecharge Command Style, ready to attack all of the Sleepers when Lara is.

 Lara smiled, and nodded at Ephemera. She was ready for anything. She raised her Keyblade, and it shone with Light, and a Sigil of the head of a roaring Lion appeared behind her. Lara then thrust her Keyblade forward, and fired a ball of Light in the shape of the head of a Lion from her Keyblade, with a trail of Light following it, towards the Sleepers. "I shall do my best, Ephe!" Shouted Lara, talking to Ephemera.

"Rampart Kick!" said Ephemera, as he launched a straightforward kick into the face of a Sleeper before proceeding to cut up two other Sleepers with his Keyblade on his left flank whilst doing so.

Skye's eyebrows went up as she listened to Eliza's account. Keyblades. She had...mixed feelings about that weapon. So simple, and yet potentially devastating.

"Ah, it sounds like that's what I'm looking for." she said, looking in the direction Eliza indicated. "Those creatures will undoubtedly be nefarious."

She started to head in the direction Eliza had come, but stopped. She wasn't alone, she had to take others into consideration. Hopefully, she would continue to remember that.

"Are you alright with going back?" Skye asked Eliza. "Such creatures would unnerve most, and if you would not like to repeat the experience..."

"What, hide in a brightly lit room, lock the door, and never sleep again?" The mage thought. "That doesn't seem like comforting advice."

"Um, we could avoid them for now." she finished a little lamely. 

Lara looked right at some Sleepers in front of her, and jumped at them, and slashed at them with her Keyblade. She looked up at the roof, and saw some Sleepers on it, and fired platinum-colored Fireballs of Light from her Keyblade at them. She was wondering if there were more in the area. She was also wondering about what they exactly were, but kept fighting. "Take this, Sleepless ones!" Shouted Lara, as she attacked the Sleepers.

"Bladecharge Swipe!!" Ephemera cut down most of the Sleepers barring his path with a large slice from his Keyblade, cutting them all down in a single file line horizontally.
