So a few years ago, my brother just walked into my room while my sister and I were playing a game on the PS2[i think]. In his hand was Kingdom Hearts, the game I saw be talked on TV once before and be played on the living room TV of one of the houses we lived in.
Now slight break from the story to explain the two short encounters with KH. First encounter was when I, at a young age, snuck out of my room late at night to get some water. My mom, dad, and my mom's friend were in the living room with what appeared to be X-Play on the TV. I saw the logo before being noticed and I had to run back to bed. For some reason I ended up connecting it to a "The Santa Clause" thing.
Second encounter. We had moved to a new house, with a BIG tv, and for some reason, KH was on the screen with Sora at the star tree at the place where you race Riku with Donald and Goofy for some reason. Didn't know what it was, however. And now I am wondering why Sora was with Donald and Goofy at that certain part of Destiny Islands.
Back to my story. So my brother entered the room with the Kingdom Hearts disc, the thing I didn't expect him to have. He put it into the PS2, and booted it up. He didn't exactly take it seriously, and didn't like the opening theme. He then ended up calling Kairi his girlfriend. No, literally. HIS girlfriend. Not Sora's, his. He played through the tutorial, and he didn't answer any questions I had. I was then kicked out of my own room before I could see more. After that, I saw glimpses of my brother playing the game in his room. Even when I was hanging out with him and his friend, he wouldn't let me play it or answer any questions I had.
Then came Kingdom Hearts 2. I was allowed to watch my brother and his friend play it, with them apparently believing that Sora turned into Roxas and the three fairies turned him back into Sora. Actually, I ended up being kicked out because I was just talking. They weren't even past the intro. And he still didn't let me play it, yet he let my sister play it. After the multiple times I begged and asked, he finally let me play it.
I actually beat both KH1 and KH2 before my brother and sister even did. I didn't know what to do at the battle report screen.
Then came Chain of Memories, which I thought was KH3 because of the M in Kingdom Hearts. I had to literally beat my brother in an arm wrestling match. After winning, I played CoM for a while, still thinking it was KH3 for some reason until I realized it was right after KH1. I couldn't beat Marluxia, so I had to get my dad to beat him, and he didn't even beat the guy. Then again, my dad didn't even know what KH was. I finally beat Marley on a snowy day while I was sick at home. Oddly fitting since I call CoM,"Kingdom Hearts: The Christmas Game." Riku mode was amazing and I beat both sides before my siblings.
When my brother got 358/2 Days, I literally had to sneak into my brothers trash heap of a room, steal his DS, and play the game. I had to delete my file whenever he got home since I had to leave no trace. I ended up taking it to school and getting pretty far...only to get grounded by my dad for stealing the DS. Both he and my brother were really really mad. I still took the DS, though. Actually getting away with it. I called Xion "Ex-Ion" because I didn't know how to pronounce it due to not making it to a voiced scene with her in it.
After that, I had no contact with KH other than taking my brother's KH mangas. I drew in them a bit during my Assassin's Creed obsession. For some reason, my brother wasn't mad. He even said I would have them if I did something for him. I failed of course. Resorting to stealing the mangas again.[For some reason, he called them comics instead of manga].
Soon, KH1 and KH2 belonged to me and I took them to my aunt's house. I played them alone in one room, and for some reason, my copy of KH2 never got past Roxas's last scene in the prologue.
KH3 rolls around with an announcement trailer. I bursted with excitement. My brother, not so much.
I show him a picture I drew of the X-Blade, he didn't like it...
And now I'm here. Okay good night I feel like this story was told wrong and that it went a little too crazy.
Okay, story time.
