Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, People of all gender identities, it's my favourite time of year: Desert Bus!
For those still interested, Desert Bus for Hope is a fundraiser for the charity Child's Play, hosted by the people from Canadian sketch comedy group LoadingReadyRun. They'll play the "world's worst game", Desert Bus, for over a hundred hours (basically all week), until people stop donating. This is the ninth year it's been organized, and in those years they have raised over $2.4 million,
In short, it's a great time. A bunch of really awesome people have to play a very boring game, and so they entertain the world. There are cool prizes for auction and to be given away, there'll be celebrity call-ins, and much more. And it's all for the children.
