First answer .

When you create a Topic, look to the right side of the topic making screen. There should be a button that says something about a poll. Click that and I believe a sub-window will pop up. You can then name your poll, make multiple polls, and add choices to the poll(s). Type in your options for others to choose from, then click the Finish button. Then do what you would normally do for a topic and type your post. Done! You can also edit your poll through the edit button on your topic's first post.

When creating a thread, you can create a poll. On the left is poll options and a box with everything you need to make a poll will appear.By the way, you don't really submit one. It's more of your poll getting attention. I have had a couple: one for post D23 2015 Bug Hero 6 announcement and one for the order people will play HD2.8. It takes notice for your poll to be taken up.

You can submit ideas by sending a member of the SM team a pm (your best bet is me because I'm the only one that actually edits the list). We're the only ones that can post the poll.
