If Cloud wasn't the one from Final Fantasy to be in a Smash Bros game, then who else would you guys have chosen over him?

 

I would think that I would have wanted Lightning, Zack, Leon, or some type of Black Mage, but the last one I would fear would be a bit like Robin in his play style. I think the first three would be nice as well because they are some of my favorite characters in KH, except in Lightning's case I like her in the FF games. But to be honest, I would still prefer Cloud the best cause he is a character that can do a bit of every skill!

Squall. Definitely Squall (or Leon as you called him).

I would have chosen Kefka over Cloud.

Plus, everyone's been wanting Cloud in Smash for years since Brawl.

If it had to be someone else... Auron. Just because of Mystic's Once Upon a Final Fantasy RP and because Auron is awesome and his final Smash would be amazing.

I know that, I feel the same way cause back in Brawl, Cloud was my favorite FF character because he was so cool looking and he was awesome in KH, and I didn't play FF back then, but when I gave the Lightning sega a try, Lightning became my favorite over Cloud, but Cloud is still my second favorite FF character. And even though at one point I wanted Sora in Smash, I quickly realized that couldn't happen in the next game, so I didn't really think that Cloud would make it either, but I am so happy he is in the game. I just wanted to see what other people thought would be cool if we couldn't have Cloud in Smash.

I'm going with Auron. Even though I only played a tiny part of FFX I love Auron. He's just amazing.Vincent would be kickass too. He's so cool.

One of the FF characters who originated on a Nintendo system. Namely Terra or Celes from FFVI, but Cecil would be great, too. Any of the other Sony FF characters wouldn't make sense.
