~Age 808: "Z/Super" Timeline~

 

In a location called Satan City, a light brown skinned 14 year old boy with spiky hair like someone named Son Goku, a white Gi uniform with a yellow medal with a somewhat demonic face strapped to it, and Red Saiyan Tail attached to him was flying through air heading to a certain place. The wind blew through his hair and clothes which he enjoyed. A nice breeze was always a pleasure to have. He couldn't be any happier.

"Son Yuki!! Wait up!" A female voice said, catching up to the boy. She had two pink pigtails and purple eyes. Her clothing...Was hard to describe, but it was unique to her. "You didn't forget about me right? Majin Chie, Daughter of Majin Buu, you're older sister's best friend, hello?" She said, seemingly joking. Yuki just chuckled at her and smiled. "Heh heh! Sorry. I'm just excited for what Bulma is going to show us! It's awesome that she's going to first show it to the 3 of us! I can't wait!" Yuki just couldn't keep his excitement in containment. What could it be? A spaceship? A giant robot? The boy kept wondering and guessing and he just couldn't help, but get even more excited!

Chie giggled at Yuki's excitement. Being his friend for quite a long time, it was no surprise that Yuki was hype for something new. From all the adventures they've had over the years with their friends, she enjoyed travelling with Yuki. And she was just as joyous to see what Mrs. Bulma has planned for them.

Not far from the Capsule Corp's warehouse - where they all supposed to meet in a couple of minutes - a girl was standing, her arms folded her eyes gazing the sky above. She was Lukai, the third member of Team X. She wasn't human though, but rather a being from far away place, unknown to many. She was a Shin-jin and a rather young one. How she ended up on this planet after all these years was a mystery even to her, but for the time being it didn't matter one bit.

She was here because they were all invited to see Bulma's newest invention, another peculiar machine no doubt. She herself wasn't all that interested in the machine, but since she knew how interested her friends were, she didn't want to spoil the fun by declining Bulma's offer.

After a couple of minutes, she saw to small figures far away in the sky and she broke into a smile, waving at them even.

As the two kids got closer to the building, Chie looked below and saw their friend. "Hey look! There's Lukai." She said, pointing at her. She then looked at Yuki. "Let's land."

"Right." He responded. The two then moved downward towards Lukai and landed in front of the Shin-Jin. "Hi Lukai. Glad you could make it! Heh heh!" Yuki said, happy that his friend had arrived. The Red tailed Saiyan jumped up and high fived her. He and Chie did enjoy having Lukai around. Ever since she suddenly appeared on Earth a while back, they've become best friends shortly after. "Glad our little trio is here. Come on! Bulma might be waiting inside." Chie said before running to the doors. "Hey! You got a headstart! Get back here, Chie!" Yuki then ran after the Majin girl, who was giggling all the way.

"Hello you two!" she greeted her friends as they landed and high fived with Son Yuki. The seemed pleased

and Chie looked cheerful as usual. Before she could say anything more however, the daughter of Majin Buu was already

making her way towards the building, Yuki following her.

"Hey wait for me!" She yelled at her friends and ran after them with a wide grin.

 

She followed the others inside the lab, hurrying across the building, towards Bulma's office. She wasn't that familiar around the building, so she was hoping that

her friends knew their way around. Honestly, she spent some time on this planet, but still couldn't quite get the hang of thing. It all seemed a bit distant to her, which

wasn't a big surprise, though she did learn quite fast.

"So do you guys know, what Bulma wants to show us?" she asked with a slight curiosity in her voice.

The two kids shook heads to Lukai. "Not a clue. That what's so exciting about it! A surprise showing. Oh man, I can't wait! Heh heh heh heh!" Yuki said with utter excitement. That big smile on his face was just a sign that he was overjoyed. "I really hope it's something I can use to take a bath in." The female Majin sighed. "What I wouldn't give to have eternal relaxation surrounded by bubbles." Chie closed her eyes just imagine what it would be like. She loved to take a nice bath. She would do anything, anything at ALL to take one. Every so often she does. And it would be a long one. A very long one. "Earth to Chie. Do you copy, I repeat, do you copy?"

Her vision disappeared when Yuki got her attention. She opened her eyes and looked at him. "Yes, Yuki?" She said with her hands on her hips.

"What's that?" Yuki pointed straight ahead, making Chie look and see a big, white sheet covering something. She couldn't tell what it was, but it was something.

Surprise... She had her fill of surprises and not all of them very pleasant ones. Just like Chie, her mind drifted away for a second as well, though

she quickly came to her senses as she heard Yuki calling their friend. She smiled at the thought of both girl ignoring poor boy, but her smile faded

as she followed the boy's hand and looked at that something, which was covered under the white sheet.

"What is that thing?" She asked quietly, and suddenly the voice of Bulma filled the room.

"Come in, kids! Come in, come in!"

Lukai looked at her friends, nodded and stepped into the room, her eyes till gazing at the gigantic thing and its white cover.

"Our newest invention! I've been working on it endlessly! Still not complete, mind you, but I just had to show it to someone!" Bulma said happily,

a slight pride escaping her. She was really overjoyed it seems, but what she was hiding under the blanket, that Lukai had no idea about.

"So what is it?"

"I call it..." She grabbed the white sheet as she replied, and pulled it off the gadget. "...the Timeline Machine!"

 

Lukai felt her jaw drop as she stared at the glorious machine. Bulma was beaming with pride and joy, seeing their faces.

"Pretty cool, huh?"

The young Shin-Jin could only nod, though she remembered hearing about it existing before. Something about Trunks coming back from the future with a message... or something. She couldn't remember the story that well.

It was pretty difficult, but she forcefully turned to see how her friends reacted at the sight of Bulma's newest invention.

"So, Son Yuki! What do you think? Want to give it a closer look?" Bulma winked at the young Saiyan. "Just be careful you three, it is still not completely done, so be careful and try not to touch the buttons!"

Yuki and Chie's eyes were sparkling in amazement once the machine was revealed. They were thrilled, they were ecstatic, they were-

 

"OMG! This looks amazing! It's not candy or a bath, but I like it!" Chie jumped up and flew around the machine, taking a good look at it. Chie had a certain interest in technology and gadgets. It would amaze her by what people could do with such a power. She would even go on and create some inventions of her own. Although, most of them went to no avail and went up in smokes...

"Wow! Just look at the design and structure. You must've worked with some of the toughest metals known to Earth! It looks indestructible." She exclaimed. She couldn't be more amazed by this creation.

Meanwhile, Yuki gasped as Bulma offered the opportunity to go in the inside. "Really!?" His eyes widened even wider. And his smile couldn't be any bigger. "No way I'm going to pass this up! Iku Ze!" He jumped up in the air and flew in. He landed down inside and looked around in amazement. "Woah...." He looked at all the blinking buttons and the wide space it provided. He's never seen anything like it. "This looks awesome!" He said out loud. Following him, Chie made one more spin around the machine and landed next to Yuki. "I love the design." She said smiling. "Eh, you wouldn't happen to have a bath button or something, would ya?" She asked, speaking out loud and roaming through the inside.

"Nothing of that sort, I'm afraid" Bulma replied to Chie's question.

Lukai followed the other two into the machine, taking a good look at every inch of this technological wonder. It was a miracle, a

complex one. Dozens of switches, buttons, levers and monitors surrounded them, some of them flashing, others blinking.

"How does it work?" Lukai looked at the inventor whose smile widened by this question.

"Basically the machine opens a gateway around itself and warps out of existence, warping back in at another point of the timeline, but at the moment, somehow we can only move the machine backwards so returning to our time would be quite problematic. That's exactly why you shouldn't push anything! Don't want to come across accidents, do we?"

"Say, Yuki, if you could go back in time... what moment would you visit?" she asked the boy with a smile. "What about you, Chie?"

She herself would gladly go and stop herself from being kidnapped, but that probably wouldn't be a smart thing to do.

While they were inside the machine, Bulma got a call from a scientist, so she excused herself for a moment and left the room leaving the three friends by themselves with the half-complete Timeline Machine.

"Which moment would I visit?" Yuki put his finger on his chin. He didn't really think of going back in time to do something. "I don't know, actually. I guess when Grandpa Goku first transformed into a Super Saiyan back on Planet Namek. That must've been epic!" He chuckled a bit, trying to imagine what happened. Son Goku told the kids stories of his past adventures, as soon as they were old enough to understand them of course.

"Well, I would like to back to where my father was released from his seal. Then I could see what he was like and how powerful he was, compared to now." She said. Chie continued to walk around the machine, checking it out. Meanwhile, Yuki was looking at all the buttons. His instincts told him to press one, but Bulma said not to. But he wanted to. "Oh...What if I just pressed one little-"

"No! Not a chance, Yuki. Just because your sister's not here doesn't mean no one will keep an eye on you." Chie said, looking at him. The boy sighed and turned around to the Majin Girl. "I guess you're right, but come on! What's the worst that could happen?" Yuki grabbed onto the ledge from behind him and jumped on it to sit on the counter. But as it turns out, Yuki did in fact press a button...He was sitting on it. "Huh?" Yuki looked down below him and noticed that his butt was blinking for some reason. "Um...Why is my butt blinking for some reason?" He said (repeating what I just explained) He jumped off the counter and looked back. Yuki saw a big, red blinking button that might have been pressed. "Uh oh.." Suddenly, the door of the machine closed. Chie looked at the door sand then at Yuki. "Son Yuki, what did you do?" Chie said. "Umm....I sat on the red button."

"YOU WHAT!?" The machine was starting up. The buttons were lighting up and the engine made a whirring sound. "This is bad! Really bad!" Chie said.

"Thinking about battles again!" Lukai grinned at the boy. "You're thinking with your muscles, don't ya?"

She examined the machine along with her friends, but unlike Yuki she had no intention of touching anything and

when she heard what the boy was planning, she protested immediately against the idea.

"Don't you dare! You'll just get us all into some big trouble!" she said half smiling half seriously.

After that Lukai could barely turn away before Son Yuki sat on the button. Feeling the immediate change around them, her eyes widened and she hastened towards the door, which was unfortunately shut tight by the time she got there.

"You've got to be kidding me! Son Yuki, what've you done!"

 

Since the machine was starting to power up, the alarm went off and seconds later Bulma and a couple of scientists ran back, on their face a mixture of fright and curiosity visible. Bulma was trying to shout something to them, but the machine was so loud it was impossible to make out what she was yelling.

The timeline Machine started to float up in the air. The whirring got louder as it rose. "Yuki!" Chie said.

"Yes, Chie?"

"If or when we get out of this, REMIND ME TO KILL YOU!!!" And then in a instant, the machine disappeared.

 

~Age 749: "GT" Timeline~

 

The Timeline Machine then suddenly stopped. It was a wild ride for the gang. They were on the floor, dizzy after a crazy trip through time.

"Ugh....What happened?" Yuki said, starting to get up. "I think we finally stopped." Chie said. And right after she said that, the machine then took a fall down to the ground. It landed on a grassy ledge, but it did a take a hard fall. The door then opened, allowing the kids to come out. "You just had to say that, Chie..." Yuki commented. "Hey, you're the one tha-" Chie's eyes widened. "Wait....We just travelled through time and space! Where are we!?" She exclaimed.

It was a shaky ride, but Lukai braved it with her breakfast still intact. The moment the machine landed and the door opened she jumped out onto the grassy field outside. They were pretty close to a town, but for the moment she was just happy that nothing bad seemed to have happened.

"You even sure we traveled through time and not only space?"

 

She stood up and looked at the city. The cities on earth pretty much looked the same in her eyes, so she wasn't sure where they were. Expecting

some sort of guidance, wisdom or anything of use from her friends, she turned towards them.

"What do we do now?"

What if they really did go back in time? How much did they go and how will they get home? To her it didn't matter that much which time period she lived her life in, but her friends had family and others waiting for them back in the present time. They were in a bit of trouble alright and she couldn't quite see how they could get out of it.

Chie paced back and forth, looking worried about their current situation. What were they going to do? Could they get back to the present? These questions quickly ran through her mind. "Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear..." Chie then lifted her head and checked the counter of the Machine. There was a digital sign showing which time period they were in. Seeing it, she gasped. "What is it Chie?" Yuki asked after hearing her gasp. "Umm....We're in the Age of 749...Alternate Timeline."

"Wait, WHAT!?" Yuki's eyes widened. "But that's before you and me were born!"

"And this is an alternate timeline, which means that things might be different here. " Chie added. "How are we going to get back home?" Chie then kneeled and opened the inside of the machine. The first thing that came out was smoke that covered the girl's face. She coughed before she could get a glimpse at it. "Oh man...The thing's all busted up." Her black-covered face looked back at Yuki. "Thanks a lot, Son Yuki!"

"Hey, I didn't know it was there! It's not my fault!" He said. "Yes, Yuki. Yes it is." Chie responded. She then wiped her face with her hand and sighed. She stood up and walked out to be with the others. "Well, the best thing to do is to find somebody that can help us. Maybe we could find someone that knows Bulma! If she's in this timeline." She said. "Well, let's go. Civilization, here we come!" Yuki said, already flying off. "Yuki! We have to stick together!" Chie said, flying after him.

"Age of 749" Lukai repeated, thinking about what happened back in 749. Seeing her friends already up in the sky, the Shin-jin followed them and as the soared towards the city she thought a bit more about the situation.

"Say, Yuki. something important happened in 749, right? Can't you remember what was it?"

The city was bustling with people and as the made their way through above, Lukai tried to find a familiar face or a point of interest... and honestly it wasn't that difficult, as she saw a young girl flying past - although far beneath - them.

She must be!

"Look!" she pointed at the girl, a small glimpse of hoping sparkling in her. "She might be able to help us!"

The girl didn't seem to take notice of Lukai yelling as she went on without looking back at the trio, so the Shin-jin urged her friends to take notice. She was hoping that it was indeed a friend who could help them out.

"Wow, this place sure is crowded." Yuki said, looking below. Lot's of people were down in the City. It was just like their Timeline. Although, there were few minor changes, but other than that, pretty much the same to him. Then Lukai found someone shortly after. It looked to be a girl flying lower than them, but she was flying. Maybe she could help out. "I'll go down there and talk to her. After all, I think I have a way with talking to the ladies. Hee hee! I'll be right back." Yuki then descended down below. Chie crossed her arms and shook her head. "Oh sure, yeah, with the ladies...He's sometimes an idiot, but it's nice to have Yuki as an idiot and a friend." Chie chuckled a bit after saying that.

 

"Excuse me! Miss!" Yuki called out, flying towards the girl.

Pan obviously felt Yuki getting closer to her as she turned around to face him, but her already angry look turned into a furious one as she rested her eyes on the boy.

"How many times do I have to repeat myself?! STOP following me!" she yelled at Yuki and doubled her efforts to get as far away from the Saiyan as possible.

Lukai watched the scene from afar so she couldn't exactly hear what they were saying, but seeing how the girl flew away she couldn't help but to laugh as she suspected that Son "Ladiesman" Yuki was at fault.

"Let's go after him." she said to Chie and followed after Yuki.

Even from this far away, looking closer at the girl she saw a slight resemblance between them.

Could it be? Could she've been a relative of Yuki?

"Oh alright." Chie replied to Lukai and followed. As they got closer, she couldn't help but see that the girl looked familiar...

 

"Eh? Hey, wait up!" The boy flew after the girl, speeding up as well. What's her problem? I just wanted some help. He flew past her and stopped in front of her. His red tail swayed back and forth, visible to anyone. He then sighed. "Um...We might have gotten off at the wrong start. My name's Son Yuki and my friends and I are sort of lost. We're...Kinda new here." Yuki put his arms behind his head, seemingly relaxed. "Hey, nice clothes! Wish I had some like those. What's your name?" He said, smiling.

He's fast! This was the first sentence that formed in her mind as Yuki passed her, As the boy stopped in front of her, Pan suddenly realized that it wasn't his grandfather, but someone who resembled him greatly. The red tail, the size and the clothing. Just who was this boy? Seeing his relaxed, open behaviour her grandfather's image popped into her mind again, but quickly discarded the idea.

"Son... Yuki?" She repeated the name. "New here?"

Could he be...

She turned and looked at the two girls closing in, then looked back at the young Saiyan in front of her.

"My name is Pan," she said hesitantly. "Are you by any chance related to... Son Goku?"

 

Lukai gained speed and was closing in on the two of them ahead so she heard bits and pieces about what they were talking about. Seeing how Yuki acted, he probably had absolutely no idea who he actually was talking to... then again Lukai wasn't all that sure either. At any rate the boy managed to stop and somewhat surprise the girl it seemed, as she stopped mid air and just floated there staring at the boy.

"Son Goku? Hey, he's my grandfather!" And then he realized...He pointed at the girl and said: "You're cousin Pan! Uncle Gohan's daughter!"

"Uh oh."Chie commented. She needed to intervene somehow. Chie moved her head back and jerked it forward, causing her right pigtail to swing out. It wrapped itself around Yuki mouth and pulled him back to her and Lukai. "Could you not be any louder and revealing?" She said to him. Her pigtail unwrapped itself from Yuki and and slowly flew towards Pan. She nervously laughed. "Sorry. He can be a little...Excited." She made a quick look back at Yuki, who crossed his arms, not very happy at what Chie did and took a deep breath. "My name's Chie. I'm with him. And we're in a situation where...It's kind of hard to explain actually." She said

Listening to her friends, Lukai decided not to join the conversation as the two of them managed to confuse Pan quite nicely all by themselves. Instead she just listened to what the two of them were saying to the girl, who for a moment seemed to be entirely lost, but managed remain calm and composed still.

 

"Grandfather? Cousin?" Pan stared at the boy and couldn't decide whether she should yell or laugh or cry. Then came the girl who didn't make this situation any easier. Pan took a quick glance at their third friend, who seemed even weirder which honestly didn't make the situation any better.

Calm down Pan! This is your big chance, the moment of truth! Show everyone how well you can handle this!

She looked at the three of them: Son Yuki, Chie and...

"What is your name?" she asked the third member of the team.

"Lukai. Nice to meet you."

"So... judging from what Yuki said and how you began to explain things, Chie... things seem to be really complicated. Why don't you tell me what happened to you guys? Where are you from?"

"Well, we're from this alternate timeline that's different from your's. It's more like, well...." Chie didn't know how to put it in order to make sense. "Let's just say we aren't supposed to be here and we need to get back to where we belong, which is our timeline." She said. Chie still struggled to explain the situation. But she was intrrupted when Yuki sat on her head. "Long story short. We're from an alternate timeline, we got here by accident, and we need help getting back." Yuki said."Son Yuki?""Yes, Chie?"Yuki started to feel hot. A little hot. Steam was coming out from beneath his behind. He Then felt hotter and hotter and...."YOW! MY ASS IS ON FIRE!!!" He jumped in the air, letting all the hot steam come out of Chie's head. She got pretty mad at Yuki for sitting on her. "He'll be fine." Up farther in the air, Yuki was still flying around, yelping and screaming about his butt being on fire.

Pan listened to Chie carefully, until Yuki decided to sat on her head which caused a surprisingly calming and funny scene which made not only Pan but Lukai laugh as well. It took Pan a few seconds to get used to all these weird things, which all started happening around her. First her grandfather turns back into a child, then she meets her yet unborn cousin who came back from the future of a different timeline. Sure was a long and rough day and boy, was it still far from over!

"Alright, so you came here with probably Bulma's  time machine..." she said, as she couldn't picture anyone else being able to build such a thing, and since Trunks already did something like this once in the past... or the future? "I better take you guys to her then, maybe she knows what to do." Pan explained, and without waiting any futher she hurried towards the Capsule Corps laboratory. "Follow me!"

"Hey, wait a minute!" Chie launched her hand, stretching her left arm out and grabbed Pan by her hand, then pulled her back. "First we have to get the Timeline Machine that we came in. Then we'll meet up with Bulma." She put her hands on her hips and looked up in the sky. "Yuki? Are you done yet?" She said. "STILL- ON- FIRE!" He yelled back. "Oh for goodness sake." Her left pigtail then stretched out and at the exact moment, grabbed Yuki by the leg and pulled him down. His facial expression just showed that he still felt the burn. A little tear was forming in his right eye and he was still shaking. Even his teeth were showing. All Chie could do was sigh. "Sorry that I burned you, but it wasn't that hot." She said."HOT!? I feel like I just sat on lava! It still burns....Still burns." He said."Anyways, we'll take you to where the machine is. Come on!" Chie then flew off, with Yuki still having Chie's pigtail tied around his leg, pulling him from behind. 

This'll be a loooong day, Chie thought.

Together with the others, Pan flew back to the timeline machine and admired it as the others grabbed and lifted the heavily looking vehicle.

"Alright then, if you're all ready, follow me!" she said and a bit more slowly, she headed towards Bulma's laboratory. "So what is the the future like, huh?" she asked winking at the others. "You know what will happen! Care to share the information?"

"Nope!" Lukai said immediately, looking at the other two warningly. "We mustn't meddle with the timeline!" she whispered to her friends. "Who knows what it might cause!"

"At least something about my lovelife! If nothing else, give me a tip!"

"You don't seem to lucky with the men," Lukai analyzed.

"Not at all," she sighed. "So any tips would be gratefully-"

"Sorry, we can't help you with that!"
