My thoughts exactly. Don't forget Treno from FFIX! :D

I've actually never played Final Fantasy IX, so I shall have to apologize that I don't know whom you're talking about! D:

 

Nomura is a huge Kain fanboy (and you can tell by his role in Dissidia 012, even wanted him to be Cecil's "Chaos" counterpart in the original); I don't think the resemblance between he and Riku are a coincidence.

Oh yessss, I remember Kain in Dissidia, he had such a badass role, and I also remember Nomura's comment on having wanted Kain to be in the first Dissidia as Cecil's rival!  Haha, the similarities between Kain and Riku are uncanny! :D
