I definitely had no idea my year was going to start like this.
Earlier in January, I was accepted into a scholarship program that is a national program center around students who take Career, Technology, Engineering, and Agriculture classes.
It is also for students who are involved in clubs based around these classes.
I actually QUALIFIED for this program, and was extremely happy about it.
I applied for it, and got in.
I was one of 24 students that was eligible for this program...there are 1381+ in my school.
I was extremely happy about this fact, and will be able to receive scholarships so I can actually go to college.
Just last week, I also applied for a thing that brings students to the United States Capitol during the summer. I had to write an essay and all this stuff, but have applied and will hopefully be interviewed. (Not many people in my grade applied.)
In March, I will be heading to an anime con in my states capital, able to meet the English dub voice actor for my favorite anime character of all time, Sebastian Michaelis.
I will also participate in my first ever cosplay competition, and will be cosplaying as Dead Master from Black Rock Shooter.
I am going to this con for my birthday since my birthday is on the 22nd of March.
Before my birthday, I will be going to my associations (Technology Students Association) State Conference, and me and one of my best friends will be competing there, hoping to be a state finalists, or even advance to the National Competition.
I have a big next two months headed for me and I am ready to take it head on!
