February 19, 20169 yr I respect Nintendo's choice, to be honest. Even though I never heard of that manga, nor that series in general, it just looks like the average Anime Schoolgirl, ya know? It's fine, I think. I'm lookin' at everybody's suggestions, but there's something about some of them that just don't work. (Except for Rocketboy's. Almost perfect! I could definitely see an 8-bit version of the Fallout guy. ) If anything, to be honest, I think you know who I would suggest, am I right?? Rock on!
February 19, 20169 yr Honestly, I know what Nisekoi is (never read/watched it, however), and while I think this is really random... I'm okay with it. Honestly, I just find it funny more than anything. There's already a ton of other costumes in Mario Maker, don't see why a random anime cross over matters that much. Just enjoy if you want, ignore if you don't. When I eventually get back to Mario Maker I might do a level with her, just for the laughs. Also, reminder that Nintendo has crossed over with anime before. Remember that Splatoon got the Squid Girl costume (though that one made a ton of sense, admittedly).

There's a mahjong tile costume, that doesn't apply & yet it's in the game. like seriously, it's just one costume, a skin, that doesn't do anything except change sound effects & what mario looks like. adding goku or naruto, etc won't change a thing. nobody asked for anime characters until this was released. just be glad we're getting new costumes and maybe nintendo will add more anime characters costumes

Ruri's great-grandfather played video games. they can jump to a flashback to where Ruri and her great-grandfather play one of the early Mario games. it's not that hard to put Mario somewhere as a cameo.
