The Kishin Ashura has finally fallen. The world is at peace.
 
The son of Lord Death, Death The Kid, has taken over his father’s mantle as the leader of Death City and the headmaster of Shibusen.
 
Alongside Maba, Queen of the Witch Order, Kid is currently lobbying to pass a new law, the "Witches Equality Act", which will ensure that witches all around the world are allowed to live comfortably in the realm of humans without fear of discrimination.
 
However, there are hints of conflict on the horizon, as the path to peace will not be an easy one. Many challenges may arise between humans and witches alike. Also, rumors are floating around that Demon Tool Gopher has resurfaced, and is planning something with the Noah Icons he received on the moon…
 
To combat this, the new Lord Death has decided to assimilate his own faction of “Eight Guardians” to personally assist him, consisting of former members of Spartoi: the Thompson sisters, Black☆Star, Tsubaki Natkatsunasa, Maka Albarn, and his new Death Scythe, Soul “Eater Evans”. With Spartoi’s units now lessened, he has proposed that a new crop of EAT students be elected to join the ranks so that they can provide assistance as well.
 
What new challenges lay on the horizon? Is the world truly heading towards a new tomorrow, or is the threat of Madness intending to consume the world once again?

Background: Growing up very fragile frightened, and bullied by his peers, Shiyu decided to follow the Path of the Warrior by joining a local dojo run by the Hoshi Family. Although not a member of the family, his desire to be courageous and strong led him to be accepted, and soon after learning their Martial Way, he left the dojo and enrolled in Shibusen, knowing full well of their duties for the world, as well as its affiliation with Black☆Star. Shiyu quickly rose above the ranks of the EAT class, and grew even more thirsty for the chance to use his skills beyond the realm of simple lessons…

However, after an incident where she discovered that she could turn into a Demon Weapon, her parents enrolled her in Shibusen in order for her to control and use her new powers wisely, as well as to escape the harsh criticism the show and her family was receiving.

Background: Adrienne and her twin sister, Henriette, both grew up comfortably in the town of Paris. The Bellerose family was known as a prodigious family of Weapons, with the first-born child of each generation always having had the ability to transform into a weapon. However, in the current generation, something unexpected happened: for the first time in the history of the Bellerose family, the first-born members of the generation were twins. Adrienne, having been born just before Henriette, was expected to be the one that would inherit the ability to transform as a weapon. From the age of 2, she was taught how to work well with a Meister so that she could be a good partner. However, once her sister had transformed at the age of 13 (Just like the other members of the family had) and Adrienne was still unable to transform, it was determined that Henriette must be the heir to the family's legacy of working as Weapons. Adrienne was disheartened upon learning that she had spent 13 years training and preparing for something that would never happen. The expectations she had been given were ones she could never meet no matter what she accomplished. However, it was shortly discovered that she was not useless in combat. Henriette suggested that Adrienne try to use her in a mock battle, and surprisingly, it was discovered that the two were perfect combat partners. Adrienne was given two years to train to her best ability as a Meister, and she used this time to come as close to perfecting her form as possible. Once the two were prepared, they were sent to the American DWMA branch. Their parents wanted the twins to work directly under Lord Death's orders due to their incredible talents.

 

Despite her newly found success as a Meister, Adrienne was still upset that she was not the Weapon that she had been expected to be. While she loved her sister more than anyone else she had ever met, she was jealous of her status in the family. She still felt that she deserved to be the Weapon. She hoped that no one could tell that she was still bitter, and constantly tried to push the negative thoughts out of her mind. Further, her family has also had a negative history with witches. In the past, a group of witches that plagued France served as the mortal enemy of the Bellerose Weapons, leading to a feud that lasted for generations. Even with the newly found peace between humans and witches, Adrienne is still hesitant to trust witches due to her family history. However, she also respects Lord Death, and reluctantly follows his orders to protect the peace between the two races.

At this point, Henriette unintentionally stole all of Adrienne's attention, and their parents spent the next two years trying to give her the same training that Adrienne had. During this time, Henriette noticed that Adrienne seemed upset about failing to meet the family's expectations. As a result, Henriette tried to find some way to give Adrienne some way to gain the respect she had lost. The Bellerose parents were both talking about sending Henriette off to America to train directly under the famous Meisters and Weapons there, and Henriette hated the idea of being separated from her sister. One day, Henriette suggested that Adrienne could try to serve as her Meister in a sparring match. Both were surprised by how in tune they were with one another as a team, and due to their talents together, they were both sent to America to work as a team.

 

While the Bellerose family has had a negative history with witches, Henriette is much more accepting of them than her sister. She believes that the witches and humans truly can find peace with one another, and wants to do all she can to ensure that this peace will be met. She spends time speaking with some witches in the hopes of learning more about their customs and gaining a better understanding of their lifestyle.

Background: Markus has a cool, somewhat intelligent, but a slacker attitude. Rather than be sitting in school being educated, he would rather be throwing his 1A yo-yos and looping yoyo and recording music. Only education that seems worthwhile to him was studying how audio works, and music composition.

 

             Growing up, he had a somewhat simple lifestyle. Had some friends, good parents, etc. But after his parents died, he was living with his Uncle around 13, and life sucked for him due to severly strict rules. He rebeled and preferred to be listening to music, throwing yo-yos, and running away a few times as he took his family's name seriously to become a professional in the Audio world.

 

             While trying to run away from the authorities after being discovered missing again, Markus was trapped by a fence that is too high to jump over. He began to get aggervated and struck the fence with his arm and fell forward onto the ground. As he got up, and witness what he did, Markus realized his arm turned into a black katana. After eventually being caught, the authorities recommended Markus to be sent to Shibusen to control his powers. His Uncle shipped him to Shibusen without second thought. Markus saw his curse as a blessing to run away from his Uncle's strict herachy. He's currently living with Melody, his introverted Meister who he has taken an interest in oddly.

 

Appearance: 5ft. and 7in. with a regular body build, but with a slight slacker posture. Brown eyes. Markus has black hair as dark as the night sky with white hair by the tips framing his black hair styled as a messy hair that seems to look stylish to pass as handsome. He wears a gray shirt with the waveform of Amplitude Modulated symbol printed across his shirt. Grayish-black demin Jeans, and a black trench coat that he usually leaves unbuttoned. Also, he wears dark blue shoes. He is normally seen with silver headphones called DEATH BEATS.

Unfortunately when with Markus, that personality changes to annoyed and possibly lethal condition where Melody may use her Sensei's covered sword to chop Markus's head. She prefers to research about sword fighting styles, technology, and has a particular high quality taste to music (Prefering Lossless audio).

 

              Melody has traveled around Japan as a young orphaned child. While on the streets, a retired samurai swordsman took notice of her and took her under his wing. She started to have a better lifestyle than living out in the streets as she learned the Hideyoshi Way of the Sword and educated herself about the world and human lifestyle. Around age twelve, her Sensei died of sickness, and she was on her own again.

 

              Rather than leaving her home and go back to the streets, she buried her sensei and continued to live in his home and take care of the dojo as she continued to practive her swordstyle. She begins making trips to the Shibuya District in Tokyo and became engulfed with modern influences. Eventually, she decided to move to Death City to attend Shibusen in expanding her knowledge and become more familiar to different cultures. She didn't expect having to live with an obnoxious hotshot who gets on her nerves most of the time.

 

Appearance: 5ft. and 6in. Regular, but pale, slender body build. Deep blue eyes. Melody has dyed light blue hair with black hair roots indicating her true colors, styled with a long, medium width pony tail with a wavy bang covering nearly over half of her right eye. Gender: Male

Background: Growing up in the streets, Denis survived with a band of thieves wielding a bow to steal from the rich. Sadistic, selfish, and cold he grew up with a hatred for people who have lavish lives that they did not deserve. One day, a robbery went wrong and Denis was left behind and was caught by the police. When he was about to be sentenced to death by the judge, a wealthy family made a deal with the police to hand Denis over to the police if he doesn't meet a certain condition. Apparently the family's daughter, Zina, couldn't sync with anyone in her bow weapon form and the parents, hearing about Denis's ability with the bow, wondered if he was able to do it. Unreluctantly, Denis somehow managed to perfectly match his soul wave length to Zina's and Denis officially became Zina's meister. Excited about this occurrence, Zina's parents waited a year for Denis to gain their trust and eventually they shipped their daughter and Denis to Death City to become students of Shibusen. 

 

Before the two left for Death City, Zina's parents promised Denis that if he does well in Shibusen for 15 years, he is free to go. Currently Denis's sadistic personality is still intact, but he's less cold than before and is quite sarcastic most of the time.

Name: Zina Mitchell

Background: Zina Mitchell was spoiled since her birth which developed a care-free and clueless personality that was made fun of by the servants in her house. When she was 5 years-old, her parents were shocked to find out that she can transform into a bow and were willing to look for a meister to send them to Shibusen to serve for the current Lord Death, Kid. One by one meisters from various areas tried to sync with Zina but none of them succeeded. However, when Zina first met Denis, she had no clue Denis was insulting her and yet oddly enough, they managed to perfectly sync. 

 

Zina is for now the only person that never gets offended by Denis's sharp tongue and considers him her only friend despite his protest against it. According to the servants, they never saw Zina express any emotion of regret, anger, and sadness.
