1. The story:

It's not as deep or dark as tales of xillia 2. Some people would go as far as saying the game has a simple story like Graces f. I disagree. The overall storyline is simple, but the things that happen during the storyline and sometimes dark and deep at times. The story overall is really lighthearted too. Also, this game is going to get an anime this year so I can't wait to do a review on that. :)

2. the gameplay:

I think the gameplay is pretty good, even though it's based off of the gameplay of tales of graces, but not as good as the xillia games. I like the gameplay because it basically fixed the problems that I had with the gameplay of tales of graces f.I really like the combos that Sorey has and how fast and quick he is. I also like the combos that Alisha has too, but not as much because she's not as fast as Sorey. I haven't tried out the other characters yet, so I can't say much about them.

Something that I've noticed with the gameplay besides the battle system is that they made the dash mechanic and the jumping off of ledges so much much better. They were introduced in the xillia games and basically improved in this game, which is awesome.

I didn't notice any flaws in the game, so if you want to mention something that you think below :)

soundtrack: the soundtrack is amazing!

Just listen to these two songs and it'll explain what I'm trying to say without me trying to explain it :)

sound effects: I haven't found them annoying. They sound pretty well done.

conclusion:  Tales of Zestiria is the best most recent tales of title yet. It has an amazing soundtrack, gameplay, and story that'll keep you on your toes! :)

Gameplay-wise from what I've played so far I think this is the best Tales game yet,the battle system is great, they've improve on some of the flaws Graces battle system had and added even more depth and I like how the world maps are design, you can explore a bit and its not flat and boring like in the Xillia games but story-wise I doubt this will beat the first Xillia.

I disagree. I don't think it can be that simple. I think it was more lighthearted then simple

You mean the story was lighthearted?Maybe I haven't beat the game yet. What I said is that I doubt the story of Zestiria would surpass the story Xillia 1

yes, that's what I meant and I think I fully understand what you mean now

Oh wow, this is a great review!  I've been wanting to play Zestiria for a while now, and I'm hoping I can get it soon!  Ooh, and the last Tales game I played was Graces F, so if Zestiria's combat is similar, then I'll have no problem in terms of learning the ropes of combat!  Gahhh, I can't wait to play this game!!!
