Is anyone having internet issues with a Wii U while everything else is working well?

Featured Replies

I don't have a Wii U, but what kind of internet issues are you referring to?

It was working well yesterday then it just stop working last night. I try to reconnect it, and it still won't.

Do any other devices suffer from this problem?

The computer, new 3DS, and Iphone are working well.

Did that, and I fix it by unplugging my router & plugging it back in.

I think I've heard of this happening to others, though thankfully I have not encountered this issue myself.  Is it saying that it is connected to the Internet, or is it giving you an error message when trying to connect?  There may be too many devices connected to your Internet that it is bogging down the Wii U, or perhaps there is an interference.  Have you switched where the Wii U or router is located recently?

Does the Wii U have Ethernet?

Yes, and on Centurylink.

Yes, and on Centurylink.

Okay, ISP shouldn't matter. Try having a wired Internet connection for the console.

Centurylink is a wireless router.

Lol, didn't know, I haven't seen that brand in Australia.
