Maybe someone can tell me what's the point in leveling up the medals if when you evolve them you have to restart from level one. Evolving a maxed out 2 stars medal brings up the stats very little, while evolving a level 1 2 stars medal does it a lot. What's wrong?

Best fail in my life.

A tip, be careful when upgrading to 6* rank, the cost increases to 46.

It's a big difference in damage after you level up and evolve medals, especially leveling up a six star medal to the max!

Be sure to get lots of Cids for when you evolve to 6 stars! You can get them in the special avatar boards. (The ones you can get some pretty great medals from cost jewels, but the actual cost after the jewels os only 1 avatar coin per slot! 6 cids, 3 chips, 3 dales, 1 of each Nephew.

When you level up medals, it's stats increase and once you evolve it, even though it goes back to level 1, it's base stats are slightly higher than the previous form at the same level, it also increases the level cap so you can boost it's stats even more before evolving again. So as you evolve it will get stronger and stronger.

The majority of medals are hard to evolve because most require a Master Yen Sid Evolve Medal to evolve them from 4 to 5 to 6. These, as far as I'm aware, aren't readily available, and if so, they are on very very hard raid bosses or just out of sheer luck.

Fortunately tomorrow has event quests that are based solely around the 4-5 star Sorcerer Mickey and Master Yen Sid evolve medals.

Edit: Also added to the fact you NEED to level up medals to max to evolve them, the higher the level of medal it is, the more damage it does.
