So what's the story re: changing unions and joining a party?

Posted

(posting this here as well just incase)

I'm hearing a lot about how you can't join a party after changing your union? Is that true.

And is it like you can't join a party, ever? For the first week? I'm so confused.

Thanks! And sorry if this was asked etc.

Sounds too ridiculous to be true. These are the sorts of things that should be taken with a pinch of salt, until you are shown decisive proof.

I thought when you choose your union at the Station of Awakening that's it. I've never heard about switching unions and you can't join a party.

False! A friend of mine switched over to Anguis and joined my party in the same day. :> So I can testify it isn't true.

Cool. Thanks guys!

I think what it meant by "you cannot be in a party" is that you have to leave your party in your current union before switching to a different one.  It's just worded poorly.

This is correct.
