After doing some reading online I have seen that the Japanese version of Unchained X allows leveling keyblades up to level 25.

 

My question relates to the materials used to upgrade past level 20. Is Orichalcum used to level up past level 20 or is some other material introduced? I have upgraded Starlight, Treasure Trove. and Lady Luck fully and I'm considering upgrading Three Wishes, but I am concerned that I might not end up with enough materials for the updated level cap.

Once we get to a certain story mission we'll be able to level up past 20.  It's the same reason Treasure Trove and Olympia can't be leveled up any further.  We just have to be patient.

So there is enough Orichalcum and materials to go around? I guess Japan is up to 400 missions or something so that is a lot of Orichalcum and the 3 it takes to level Three Wishes is worthwhile.

Yes, there will be enough to go around haha!  Or at least there should be!  But more will show up that's for sure!

I can't remember if you need Orichalcum or not (I don't think so, but I'm not sure). What you'll need is a new material they add you can only get by completing a mission on a special quest.

There is a much rarer material called 'Adamantite' or something like that. It is used to go up +25. Usually obtained from story missions as a reward for defeating enemies with 1 turn

this is with all the keyblades at max lv. except lady luck because I didn't have it at max when I made this list.

You will need another material call adamant/adamantine.

 

There will be quests for each keyblade.

 

I should warn people, these quests are easy at first but become incredibly painful when they get to the 3rd-5th quest. We are talking harder than lvl 140 proud quest.

By that point, hopefully we have reverse medals like Sephy and Roxas.
