There is a petition to cancel Paper Mario Color Splash

Featured Replies

Funny this is getting headlines again, considering it was a petition on the day Color Splash was announced.

Pretty sad that people feel the need to start a petition for things like this. If you don´t like a game, don´t buy it. It´s really THAT simple.

A petition to cancel a game?  Now that is downright silly, in my opinion.  If you dislike the game simply don't buy it; that will hurt the company and they'll learn that fans don't like it.  The game is already in development and they have already put money into this.  It would be silly if they actually listened to the fans that signed the petition and said, "Oh, yeah, right!  Some people won't like the game.  Let's stop everything and cancel it, disappointing the thousands of people who would actually enjoy and purchase the game."

I'll admit that I wasn't a fan of Sticker Star, but I enjoyed other Paper Mario titles and am willing to give Color Splash a chance.  You never know when they'll actually come up with another great Paper Mario title and it would be worth playing to give it a chance, at the very least.  But cancelling before it ever comes to fruition?  That doesn't make sense for Nintendo to do at all.
