Posted May 22, 20169 yr just like the title says. I'm currently watching someone play a danganronpa 2 visual novel and I'm loving the aspect of mystery.
May 22, 20169 yr Author Ace Attorney. There is also an ongoing anime of it. do you think it's better or me to get the visual novel or watch the anime ?
May 22, 20169 yr It depends. I recommend seeing the anime until the end of case 2, then comparing case 2 in a let's play(in order to avoid spoilers by watching a lp from the start) The anime cut some details and/or manages them differently. Most of these are not important though, and plenty of the parts they cut are there mainly to extend the duration of the game, and really not important. (kinda like the arguments about silly, obvious things at the beginnings of some of the trials in Danganronpa) The anime also has some cool parts in it, that were better than in the VN imo.
May 22, 20169 yr If you want mystery, read Umineko no Naku Koro Ni or its spiritual predecessor, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni.
May 22, 20169 yr People killing each other? There is the Zero Escape game series! 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors is the first one. The story is about a group of people trapped on a sinking ship and they have to escape by solving puzzles in something that is called a "Nonary Game". Everyone has a bracelet and bombs implanted on their stomachs. Elfen Lied? I remember the first time I saw the anime. Body parts flying in all directions! If you want mystery, read Umineko no Naku Koro Ni or its spiritual predecessor, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. The baseball bat scene....Oh god! the baseball bat scene! D:
