KHX PLOT-HOLE?!? (KHX SPOILERS)

Posted

hi guys

I think I just found a problem with KHX plot regarding the Book of Prophecies, this book basically contains the future events of the KH universe and we know this to be true to some extent because of the worlds we can explore in KHX (like Agrabah or Wonderland) that will only exist after the Keyblade War

So if this books tells you what's going to happen, how is it possible the Foretellers think the Keyblade War will destroy the world? They should know that some children will partially restore light and they should also know about Master Ava plan to create this group of children (dandelions)

maybe this means the book of prophecies isn't really all knowing?... I really don't know

Master Ira speaks of the fact that the events that they are experiencing are not written in none of the Forteller's tomes. The tomes were given to each of the Fortellers by the Master of Masters.

hmmm I already know that there are some missing pages, but as far as I know the missing pages are at the end of the book and tell of a final clash where the light will expire (and personally I think this final clash will be the one at the end of KH3), basically I'm saying that the book should tell the Foreteller everything about KHX since this is the begging of the KH universe and so these events are at the beginning of the book

but they know what's gonna happen in their time, that's why Ava starts the Dandelions. They know what's going to happen, but they can't really think of an effective way to avoid it. no plot holes here

okay the book says that there will be a War but why it apparently doesn't mention the dandelions and Master Ava's plan to recruit children?

I think all of their books are different as well like they don't say the same thing or they don't have the same pages I believe as well I'm not sure about that.  This game/part of the series is a bit confusing because of the whole this takes place before the Keyblade War which is the results of the worlds becoming separate but so far they haven't explained (at least I don't think so) how did Mickey Donald and Goofy make it to Daybrake town if this takes place hundreds or thousands of years before the events of Birth by Sleep.  It is a bit confusing unless it has something to do with Charity and the Masters because you never see Charity when you are with people from the world or Mickey Donald and Goofy.  I just wish they would explain some of the things better here.

about Mickey Donald and Goody being in Daybreak Town it can be explained, in fact they are illusions created by the book of prophecies just like the other world's inhabitantsand about the book itself I don't think each Foreteller's book is different, however I'm now starting to think the Master of Masters might have not written everything about the keyblade war this explains Ava's plan not being in the book

you have no proof that it does or doesn't say that the children were sent to the future, so it's not apparent that it doesn't mention it. in fact we only have a few verses from the book  and as prophecies go it wouldnt say "Ava sends children into the future" just like it doesn't say "Mr. darkness man and his forces lay waste to the keyblade wielders of light in the waste land. everything proceeds to fall into darkness". It probably says something about a flower sending it's seeds in the wind

well okay I agree the book isn't written in an explicit way, but we have to remember the readers are the Foretellers I find it strange they don't get a clue about what's going on, however I watched again the December 2015 trailer of KH2.8 and the Foretellers talk of a generic missing page so probably the events of KHX were told thereand however Ava doesn't send dandelions in the future, but in a dream version of Daybreak town

actually know it's not a dream version of daybreak town, it is actually the future. Ephemera is the only one who enters the realm of dreams

I kinda noticed a plot-hole myself in Beast Castle, after the defeat of Gaston. It shows Beast being turned back into a human, but here's the thing in later games like Kh1 and Kh2 it shows beast as a beast again. So I didn't see the sense in that, unless something happened between Beast and Xehanort.

actually I think the Disney Worlds' stories in KHX are not to be considered canon, because if they were the player should have met TAV and SDG in these worlds,

UNLESS the Master of Masters actually did not see our heroes in the future o.O

All the Disney worlds in KHX are simulations using the Book of Prophecies, startingly similar to CoM and coded (esp. since coded claims the journal is like the book, and BbS claims Castle Oblivion was a mechanism devised by ancient masters...) There's no plot holes with later games, as none of these Disney characters are any more real than they were in Castle Oblivion or the Datascape.

However, we still don't know how post-KH2 Mickey got to Daybreak Town, and from what we're told by Ephemer (NA name), Daybreak Town at least seems to be real. Mickey is unlikely to be a simulation like the other Disney characters, as unlike them he actually does things when the player is not present (for example, his scene wondering how he got there.)

As far as the Book not being able to predict the current events? They don't have the complete book, and they may each have separate portions anyway. And it also may be something like in Halo, where the approaching cataclysmic event wrecks the stochastic capabilities of the book, so it gets more inaccurate or unable to predict the closer things get to the War.
