It's great to see more of Aquas story.  There are a lot of questions that need to be answered about her time in the Realm of Darkness.  However, this got me thinking, aren't there questions like this about Riku as well that could've used a little game like this to help explain?

From the end of Re: CoM to the end of KH2, theres a lot of time that seems like it was kind of glossed over about what Riku was doing during this time.  I know that we see some of it in Days, and the events of that year and change had been talked about, but wouldn't you all have liked to have had a game similar to 0.2: A Fragmentary Passage which went into more detail about what Riku had to go through in that time?  I don't mean a whole new spin off game, just a small segment like 0.2.  I feel like it was a bit of a missed opportunity and probably would have done well considering Riku is so popular

EDIT: If you feel like the information they gave about Riku throughout the games is enough then that's fine, go ahead and say that.  I'm just wondering if anyone would have liked to have seen a game like this sometime between BBS and Coded

Personally, I felt like what was shown in Days covered all the gaps. I mean, yeah, I'm sure there was stuff that happened, I just don't think it's essential to the story. But that does seEm like an interesting idea.

no, i wouldn't because there's a good chance that Nomura has nothing written for what happened during that time.

If he were to suddenly decide to make a game based on that, he'd have to throw together a last minute plot device in order to justify the game even being a game, and not some cutscenes (like, idk, the ones we already have in Days and KH2).

it's like what happened with 358/2 Days. people wanted to know what happened to Roxas while he was in the organization (or alternatively, Nomura just HAD to tell everyone what happened) and because nothing of importance happened, Nomura had to come up with Xion to justify an entire game. In the end, the series really could have done without that entry.

Any information we learned in Days could have easily been condensed into a cutscene for another, more important game.

we don't really need an entire game just to explain what happens to a character who isn't on screen for a game or two. it'd be in Nomura's best interest to focus on making games that stick to what's important to understanding the overall story, imo

While I think we've gotten quite the insight into Riku's journey so far, and what he did during the course of the Xehanort Saga, I don't think a game to shine some spotlight on him is necessary.  Dream Drop Distance already handled that really well, ya know?  But that's not to say I wouldn't play a game based on what Riku did at certain points in his journey, ya know?  I'd be all up for it!  But yeah, his character is developed enough, so I say that his arc is just fine! :3

Good God, 0.2...that's gonna be awesome!!! X_X

YES! I have been desperately wishing for a game about Riku during that time! It drives me crazy only getting to see a tiny bit of what he did in Days. ><

(If not a game, I'd like to at least hear him talk about it/see flashbacks/something!)

I'm pretty sure that Kingdom Hearts 3D was Riku's game. He was ultimately the hero of that particular narrative.

I love DDD, but for me that doesn't really resolve the hole-like feeling I feel from not seeing what he did for most of the time between the end of CoM and KH2. I want more. ><

Maybe cutscenes in 0.2 - A Fragmentary Passage may add more content with what Riku did between Com and KH2.
